Hmm...I'm not sure about any tutorials. I'd try some instructional books and stuff. The textbook that I learned from mainly was called Genki, if you can find that! Nakama is also good (though not as good as Genki because it takes things a bit slower).

Oh, what were you there for? Exchange program?

And I'm getting close, but not quite fluent yet haha. I can watch some anime without subtitles and understand everything just fine, Nichijou for example. But for ones where they use a lot of technical terminology, like say, Psycho Pass, I'm lost -_-

Oh cool! Hope you enjoy Samurai Champloo. It's not exactly shounen, but it's awesome, great characters great sword fighting and all that.

And nope, I was an exchange student there, but I'm from the US :P

Oh, I have a few favorites. Higashi No Eden, Psycho Pass, Katanagatari, Samurai Champloo, just to name a few :) I've never really gotten too into One Piece myself though :/

Yeah, I loved OPM... I think there would be more episodes of it.
I watched Slam Dunk too. Too bad it doesn't have more episodes.
I really recommend Kuroko no Basuke, watch it. It will be worth your time. :)

Yeah, do you know if there is a set date on the anime release for Bleach to start back up again. Also, One Punch Man was sooooo good, I wish there were more episodes! D:

I'm gonna try to read some OPM and Noragami this weekend I think. Also, I haven't seen Kuroku no Basket, but I have seen Slam Dunk and really liked that. :3

Yess, Kenpachi is one of my favorites in Bleach as well! I love one of the Earle fights where he fought Ichigo, that's one of my favorite fights in the entire anime. Shusui, Catpain 1, was also one of my favorites as well because he was so powerful but also really laid back. I watched the majority of the manga and keep up with the manga for a while after the anime ended but haven't been reading it as much lately.

Yeah, I just finished an anime called Noragami Aragoto recently, and Iv'e been trying to keep up with Prince of Stride: Alternative and Reikenzan: Hoshikuzu-tachi no Utage. How about you? :)
