well at least it's not as bad as a constant of accidently ko'ing shinies & running out of pokeballs to catch it with... i did a run once in emerald & my random wild shiny luck was sooo awesome but everything was dreadful once encountering them. xD

    oh man, best of luck!!!

yeah well I Really wanted my Piplup bad xD

damn, that is good SR'ng luck! xD

my sr'ing for shinies luck sucks in general tbh.
But on one AS speed run, i did real good and wasn't even doing it for a shiny. I was actually sr'ing Latias as close to competitive flawless as i could under my same OT as my old original sapphire main game (to make up for my old lati w/ iv's 0/7/0/0/0/0)... landed a shiny one on the forth sr!

and in all honesty, when I said well over 200.... the "200" part was just to make myself feel better.

My exact count for my Piplup SR'ing was 873! xD
... have fun on your shiny quest. :)

She doesn't monitor evolution progress. All she does is tell you when it'll "hatch" and when it reaches level 100. You can do your own benchmark on when it "evolves" if you wanted but it doesn't really matter in the end does it?

Yes, it includes Trade Pokemon as well.

All the answers to your questions can be found on Page 1 of VPP in Caite's first two Posts. Generally a VPP takes 175 posts to hatch and raise to level 100. However, if the Pokemon's Typing matches the time of year(aka Season), then it takes less time or Posts to raise. Thats why she asks for what Hemisphere you're in because its currently Fall in North, Spring in South. She also tends to throw Special Themed events such as the one for Halloween during the Month of October. Probability of a VPP being shiny is 25%, with an item that you can buy from VPP shop raising it to 35% on a one time use. Mega Pokemon can only be raised if you have a Mega Ring and Mega Stone from the VPP Shop. If you want a NFE, you must specify to Caite when making your VPP request post.

    Username: CodeHelmet
Pokemon: Charmander <- I want its base form
    Post Count: 2230
    Hemisphere; Northern

If you don't specify that you want Charmander, Caite will assume you want to fully evolve it. Pokemon who evolve by Stone are fully evolved unless they're Alolan(Ice Stones are in Shop).

Unfortunately, it can't be any Pokemon. Legendaries, Mythicals and Ultra Beasts have requirements attached to them(See Spoiler here. Meaning if you wanted to do Articuno, for example, you'd have to raise 1 Water, 1 Ice and 1 Flying VPP first. Then when you're ready to raise one, you PM Caite about it to square away that you've met the requirements. Then fill out the form with your Legendary and which VPP's you intend to use to raise it. Once VPP's have been used for a Legendary, they can't be used for another. Furthermore after raising a Legendary, you have to raise 10 VPP's before you can raise another one. Ultra Beasts, in particular, require 1 Legendary.

If you think that's crazy, its not me, its Caite's rules lol. As for displaying VPP in your Breeder's Stats, its optional. Furthermore, having so many images in a Post can cause lag and what not so I don't even bother with images. My Breeder's Stats would work just fine if you wanted to use it as an example. Link I may ultimately use spoilers so people don't have to scroll through mountains of text. When I finish raising a VPP, I add it to my Breeder's Stats along with the points I get for finishing it. Then I make a post for the next one I'm raising(wherein Caite responds with the Post numbers).

As for what VPP I'm raising, I simply put it into my Forum signature so I can somewhat keep track of it. The images I use for that can be found here: Pokemon Sprites. Unfortunately, that goes up to Generation VI. Generation VII and beyond require alternative sources. A good one is Deviantart since I believe people have posted Alolan sprites for people to use.

What she wanted from you was to quote this post(<- click me) she made back in July regarding the Get Together rewards. If you quote her and ask for the Shiny Vanillite and the 50 VPP points that came with it, its yours :). Furthermore, if you make another post in the VPP topic about what Pokemon you want to raise using the format below, you can get started on it.

Think you misinterpreted my reply in VPP topic. The Breeder Stats page is to keep track of the VPP's you raise, your points and items you've acquired from the shop. If memory serves, you got a Shiny Vanillite from participating in the Ice Cream Get Together Event this past July. What Caite wanted from you was to make a Breeder's Stats post so that if you decide to continue raising VPP, you have a place of reference to go to in the event there happens to be a discrepancy between you and her on whether you can raise a particular Pokemon(like a Legendary).

You don't have to raise the Shiny Vanillite as its given to you at level 100. Now if you want to raise another Pokemon, make a post in the VPP topic with the required information that I quoted. What you'll want in the Breeder's Topic is something like this:

VPP: Vanillite(level 100 *Shiny*) <- You'll add to this as you raise more VPP
Points: 50 <- believe she gave you 50 points. This goes up as you raise more VPP. You spend it on VPP items.
Items: none <- example: Mega Ring, Ice Stone
    Mega Stones: none
