Hi, I had a question/request for you since you're one of the mods for the game development forum.
I was wondering if y'all could create another sub-forum within it, like the graphics & music, and essentials forums are.

One specifically for game ideas, I know this thread already has a game idea tag, but this would be for something different.
Those that use the tag seem to mostly be using it to test interest in their own ideas they are pursuing.

My idea for the game idea (name should change) forum, is a place for people to leave their ideas for rom hacks, that for one reason or another they aren't or don't have time to pursuit.

It should require a brief description of the premise and any code, or other technical info they know, that would be needed to help someone get started.

For example mine would be pokemon colliseum or xd but on a gba or nds base rom.

As well as a recommendation of any tools or programs I feel would be necessary to complete the hack.


I think it would be good for the fangame community as a whole, there would be plenty of ideas for those looking to try things, others wouldn't feel pressured to try and follow EVERY idea or inspiration so they can focus on other projects.
And maybe this would give those with skill but little inspiration/ideas another way to stay engaged with the community.

That's my thoughts. I know you probably have to talk something like that over with other mods, I just thought it better to send just one message instead of spamming all of you.
