  • Hi there. I've been going around asking people if they have new information regarding their X/Y Friend Safari so we can update the Friend Safari list; there's an awful lot of entries where the type and/or Pokemon are unknown. You're one of those people. Do you happen to know what's on your Safari now?
August Burns Red and Imagine Dragons are great. I got Imagine Dragon's debut for Christmas and it's pretty amazing. They definitely have talent and skill.
Older stuff is great too, spefically on your list I like some Bon Jovi and Aerosmith, but I only really know their hit single rather than albums. Personally I grew up with The Beatles cause my dad's a big fan of their music. Also some Pink Floyd too, he would play Dark Side of the Moon alot for us when we were younger.
I don't know. I'm not a big fan country myself, the genre doesn't stand out to me in my opinion.

I love fun., Linkin Park(older stuff mainly, but their new album is great imo) , 3 Doors Down , Breaking Benjamin, OneRepublic , Coldplay and Three Days Grace too (only know a few of their older songs though and one from their new album) I'm pretty versatile when it come to music taste as you can see.
:D Naw the questions are fine!

Well, I have a wii, xbox 360, dsi, and psp. Not very active with xbox and psp as I am with the others. I have alot of games for all of them tho, and switching in-between every now and then is a nice change of pace.

As for MMOs, I have an Elsword and Maplestory account. :( cant play them now until I can get a new charger from my better laptop.

Lastly, I say my favorite gen is currently Gen 5(Gen 6 might change that :P) due to the high concentration of pokemon I loved and due to the region itself being spectacular. Which is your favorite?
Just about anything mostly rock , alternative, and indie. Switchfoot, Relient K, Rise Against, House of Heroes , Thousand Foot Krutch, Paramore, Imagine Dragons, twenty one pilots, Underoath, Skillet, August Burns Red, Passion Pit, Family Force 5, Needtobreathe, Everyday Sunday, RED, Flyleaf, Two Door Cinema Club, Of Monsters and Men, Group Love, and lots more.

Plus some dubstep and electronic stuff like Nero, Skrillex, Ruskp, Klaypex, Netsky, Port Blue (Adam Young, or the dude behind Owl City,'s ambient project)

    Yourself?
    I don't mind at all!

Unfortunately, I have a problem where as soon as I finish a story, I always get a better idea for it and I rewrite it all over again. I mostly tend to write alternate universe fics, where I see what happens to the world/characters if a little something about the world changes.

On PC, I don't really have the time right now to go to other places here. If I do have the time, I just check every board to see if there's a thread that catches my eye. Aside from FF&W, I'd say that the board I have the most interest in is the Let's Play forum, since I really enjoy watching and reading those.

Nidoking is my favorite Pokemon. I'm also a fan of Pikachu, Charizard, and Lucario.

Favorite universe is the anime one.

Favorite region is a tie between Johto and Unova.

FF&W tends to fluctuate in popularity. Sometimes, there's a lot of people posting stories, questions, and reviews. Other times, it's very quiet. It depends on the time of year and how much free time people have. Like right now, it's a quiet time because of the holidays and school for people.

There's two groups of people here when it comes to posting their writing. One group posts their stories at a steady, reliable rate no matter what. Others either quit posting or very slowly update due to how lacking FF&W can get with reviews. It depends on what the person wants out of writing, I guess.

The main board of FF&W is where all in-progress fics go. Except for poetry, which has its own subforum.

Your questions aren't a bother at all. I'll even admit to being egotistical enough to like answering questions about myself. And it's always great to meet someone this interested in FF&W.

And if you don't mind, I'd like to ask what kind of fics do you like to read, and what kinds are you planning on writing?

EDIT: (Also, I go by male pronouns, so my displayed gender is what I identify as.)
Hey Mike, what's up? You play middle infield? That takes some skill. I pitched for a while before hurting my knees. The stupid thing? I hurt one playing RF and the other rounding third... But I love baseball. I actually write for a well-known New York Mets site, as well.

Yeah, Gallade is awesome. Love your Sneasel icon, too. My favorite type is the dark type, so I'm quite fond of Sneasel and Weavile.
Hey there Hikari10 told me you're a fan of Owl City.

He's one of my favorite artist and so we should get along. lol.

    Anyway welcome to PC!
She's modded the board since 2008, so yeah you can tell how experienced she is.

And yeah, don't let her displayed gender fool you, she is a girl.
Thanks for the FR, I'll be happy to help you out.

And hey, I see your Fanfiction & Writing mentor Astinus just contacted you. Have fun with her!

She's very experienced in that section, given she's modded it for almost 5 years now.
Hey there! Welcome to PC! I'm perfectly willing to be your mentor and help you out with FF&W.
