happy late thanksgiving!! we don't really celebrate here but hope you had a lovely one ~~~

And yeah.. I was thinking about the Sinnoh thing the other day. It feels like a lot of the wild encounters are the same few ones which appear everywhere. I wish there was a bit more type variety too, like why do we have so many of the same Pokémon in places yet have almost no fire types anywhere? The wild encounters is something they could've taken from Platinum, variety was so much better there!

And yes I like it so far :D I'm currently at the area for gym 6 and exploring Iron Island. Where are you now?? Hopefully you like the team you have :3

And I am excited to accept your request! No worries about any delay my friend. I'm more of the introspective type myself. Do you know your Meyers Briggs personality type? I am infp, for introverted, intuitive, feeling and perceptive. I have a reply to your pm coming, so look out for me. <3

Relationships with cousins can be very special, my cousins and Erin and Sonya are like the sisters I never had. I'm glad that you and your cousin were able to develop such a warm bond in the time that you were together.

And cudos that you are gradually overcoming that dislike of needles to just take care of you. It sounds like you have gotten all the shots from flu to covid vaccine, and should have some very solid protection. Nice that you also did manage to get a thank you through to your doc on Facebook.

That's an interesting way of describing yourself, a spoke in an ever-turning wheel. I wouldn't say your posts are "merely one of many" though, while there may be many people here, the things you write are still posts that get my notice despite others talking too, because you still write personal things that seem honest, from the heart, and I like hearing your perspective because you also sound sober and level-headed even during heavy discussions while others might start coming across as flustered, you feel grounded and I think say things that are wiser than you know, and ask good questions. I can dig though how the dynamics of the forum make it easier to relate than in a large public space, still think those are things about you worth mentioning though.

Alcohol is kinda neutral to me. I don't go out of my way to buy alcoholic drinks, because there are plenty of other beverages to drink that don't contain alcohol and often taste better and are more affordable. It's not that interesting to me, but if there like a New Year's Eve party and glasses with champagne are being passed around, I can sip it. It's fine, if it's my choice though I would probably get something like apple cider or grape juice. Don't do anything that makes you feel of uncomfortable ever, and if you don't like the taste and how society romanticises drinking and are worried about the long-term effects of drinking too much, especially since you have loved ones who had troubled history with substances, then I think you are making the right choice not to drink, those are all very important reasons to do what you're doing.

I'm happy to hear about your early Christmas present, that does sound like a delightful little retreat, taking a trip to Sinnoh. I hope you enjoy playing Brilliant Diamond, let me know how your adventure goes!

I don't like it either.. but sometimes I just crave it for some reason? Not sure why, I rarely drink it unless I'm craving it randomly. Maybe I like the texture but not the flavor or something, I dunno @[email protected] But I do like matcha so maybe if I buy matcha powder and mix that with milk to make a matcha latte it will satisfy the cravings ~ (bike riding seems so refreshing!! I haven't rode in sooo long wonder if I still remember how lol)

I planned a bit, like I want to try Purugly this time (and Piplup yet again lol), but like you not much really. Gonna see how it goes too. Hope you have fun! I'm playing now :D Decided to try using Pachirisu again too, tried back in DPPt but it was super weak... that hasn't changed, but maybe will be more of a challenge this way!

And tell me about it. T_T I wish I could bring some of them back but oh well. Right now I just want Midge to please move out, I love her but I have too many normal personality villagers!!

I wasn't specifically addressing you with my message in the creepy people thread btw!

It was more of a general reminder, I'm really sorry if I gave you that impression!

Yeah.. caffeine can make you super jittery, I remember when I drank full black (no milk) coffee and took my stress relief pill.. I was so shaky the whole day. It felt awful. >< sorry about the gross medicine ahhh!

glad you're looking forward to it :3 I'm not gonna use any of them, I think the game might be too easy if I do, but I will try to use mons I haven't used much before! have you planned any of your team yet?? (and omg yes I know the feel about shiny hunting being boring. I feel like my attention span for it is getting worse and worse......)

Yeah, I totally get that, and understand why some doctors may be reluctant to prescribe it. Back when I was having panic attacks my doctor didn't want to give me any kind of anxiety medication despite me clearly being completely panicked though, which I guess I understood given possibility of addiction, but I was clearly suffering - to the point where simpler things like meditating wouldn't help much - and some medicated help would've been nice :x I wasn't even that young either, in my mid 20s, so I understood the risks!!

yeah it can be multiplayer too! Others can join your world and help you out with stuff. I've never done multi yet but strong people can help carry you through things if you need it. Which is nice if you have strong friends and want to catch up more quickly aha

yes @ Unity, I heard!! I got used to the graphics, they're cute and it looks like they were improved on from the original trailers. I also did hear the PokéRadar (the shiny hunting tool in DP) was nerfed in ways that make getting shinies more difficult, and that sucks if it's intended/not a bug :(

That's what my mom takes when she feels anxious! She's been taking it for a long time and says it works well ^^ It's good it works well, I guess it's one I can keep in mind if I ever feel like I need to go on medication..

And yeah it's very similar. The art and story are great, or at least what I managed to do of it before the repeated grinding for upgrade items for my characters got too tedious. I was having fun but one day it all just....stopped. I think I just finished upgrading my last main character and then right as I did I leveled up, and the next character upgrade bracket unlocked. Meaning I didn't even have downtime and had to do it all over again. Realized then that I just didn't want to keep doing those same boss battles and etc daily constantly. It's no fun D:

Yeah BDSP is so close now!! I honestly can't believe it, feels like yesterday when it was announced. Hopefully we both like it. And sure, if you win I can discount you now that you're able to get your own copy <3 can't wait till they're out so we can let each other know how it goes!!

Fav villagers... hmm idk I love a lot. But Willow's color scheme is so cute and I love her. :D Also Poppy, Kid Cat, Lolly, and soo many of those cute ones. omg. I also like a lot of the new ones ~

Glad to hear you got it!! I hope you feel more relieved now that you're taking it, glad it all went away when you started the medication again ^^ Medicine is so impressive tbh, it's great how it can make people live so much more comfortably.

ooh yeah BotW was so popular. I think it takes a very long time to go through most of the content there, which is good since it means more playtime. I like the way it looks a lot but dunno if it's my thing either. Already tried Genshin Impact which was strongly inspired by it, and while I loved the characters/art, the gameplay got a little too tiring and repetitive for me. hope he likes it!!

And yes I did try. :D It's fun but I'm taking it slow and only playing an hour or so max a day, so I don't go through the content too quickly. I like designing homes for characters since I enjoyed that in Happy Home Designer for 3DS, so I knew I'd like this one too. And the new furniture I've seen so far looks nice. Bell Boom sounds good, gl paying it off! I went with beautiful island so I can get more villagers to help me water flowers and pick weeds lol. Though I have so many flowers they will never keep up with all of it each day, uuurgh.

    tipper is cute <3

I don't know if you've had your appointment yet, but I do hope everything went well! :)

I have definitely stopped with WWE it seems. Like you, life has got in the way, and as I said, for the first time in forever, I just have no urge to catch back up this time. The same happened with formula 1 too. I was a die hard fan, I mean I watched every second. Practices, tests, I had watched all the footage I could find / trade for races going back to the first one in 1950. Then... I just stopped last year when I got really ill. It was no longer the sport I fell in love with you know?

Chess is very cool, but I haven't got the brain processing speed to play it right now. I will definitely look at getting back into it though if I get a bit better :)

How long have you been playing?

Loki is excellent, very approachable. It heavily references Infinity War and Endgame.

I still haven't seen What If? myself yet! I must get on it!

That is so sweet! He sounds like a very warm soul, still remembering to give a hug, even in times like these, where we have become accustomed to maintaining such reserve with one another to be extra safe, but it's still important not to close off our hearts and still find ways of showing spontaneous affection like that sometimes. I like what you have to say about him.

I should congratulate you too on your driver's permit, that is good news indeed. Did you two meet when you were getting your vaccine and get to know each other on that fateful day, or where you two already close, and decided to take the journey together because both of you disliked needles to support one another. Either way it's cool that both of you, even though neither of you like needles, got vaccinated anyway. I knew you had gotten the shot, but didn't know that needles were something that rubbed you the wrong way, so that was brave I think to go anyway.

That's also a wonderful and thoughtful thing for him to say to your mother, and I think he's right, offering to make him a plate of food is a considerate thing to do. I would appreciate it if someone did that for me.

I agree that it's probably best to not be overly familiar with your doctor and give a Facebook friend request, at least at this point, but just dropping them a simple message saying something like, thank you for all your help, you made my doctor's visit a lot easier, would I think be fine, and appreciated if they get to see it. If they they don't catch it, then you still made the effort, but I think they very well might see it :) who knows?

Yes, I have heard before death described as not seeming real sometimes, especially when it happens unexpectedly like this, sometimes I can even feel numb, and some part of me even feels like they haven't truly left. It definitely isn't fair. I was wondering if you had bought a present for him and never got to give it to him what do you think he might like you do with it if he could see you know? Is there someone else close to him that he might enjoy having his gift? Maybe he would even want you to keep it because of your closeness and to remind you of him? Also there could be a good cause that may be able to use the Christmas present like maybe donating it to program for people like him dealing with alcoholism? Just a few ideas.

Well I appreciate your willingness to have an intimate conversation like this one with this me, and your openness on this forum. Not everyone would be comfortable talking about a subject this sensitive online, and think it takes courage to express your feelings and share your mind. I'm posting pictures of all your favorite pokémon to stand in solidarity with you.

It's human to feel such sadness right now to lose someone you loved so suddenly, it's okay to grieve and let all the pain out. Remember also that it isn't your fault, the emotions you feel right now are testament to how much you do care about him. I'm so sorry to hear thay he felt unloved, especially hearing how much you tried to make him feel valued and supported. If it's uncomfortable you don't have to answer this, but it might be nice right to think of some of the wonderful things about your loved one. What are some of the best memories you have of him?

Your doctor sounds very good, sensitive, helpful, nice and like a pro who knows how to handle difficult situations. Maybe they could continue to be someone you could confide in? I don't think there's a special way to say thank you to a doctor, other than just simply letting them know how much appreciated them, and saying thanks for being there.

If there's any way that I can help you feel a little better just let me know okay. I'm here now. Sending love your way.

Omg, I'm so sorry ;__; Ugh. Life just isn't fair sometimes. All the best to you and his friends and loved ones.. I'm so sorry again. :( Here for you.

And awesome, thank you for letting me know! I would rather play the 3DS version since it's more modern and looks better, that makes the decision much easier. I think my husband might have a copy so I will ask him and see. Would be nice to finally experience that classic.

And nice! Who are some of your fav villagers you have? :3 Glad you had fun! I am actually typing this right before going to try out the new update ~

    Hi there Zeostar,

I was saddened to read what a difficult time it is right now for you and your family, and that someone dear to you lost their battle with alcohol addiction. I am really sorry, you're in my thoughts and prayers friend. I hope you will accept a Teddiursa hug from me.
