For a long while now, I only told this to people I was close to, but I guess I'll go ahead and come out and open up about this, although it's a little sad for me to have to post about this as well.
In January 2015, my mother was diagnosed with Stage 3 multiple myeloma, which is a rare cancer to the bones. She stayed strong this past year, and unfortunately the worst thing to happen had happened.
My mom passed away. On the morning of New Year's Day this year, at 3:58am....
So this past Friday, I was at MegaCon 2015 in Orlando. I certainly had a lot of fun, and it will definitely be a memorable experience for sure!
Anyways, it was 6:45am when I finally got into my car and hit the road. I was going to pick up two friends that were going to the convention with me. After I picked them up, I went ahead and got gas and bought breakfast before getting on the Interstate. The drive up to the convention was simple and quite fun. I drove up Interstate 4 mainly...
I've decided to start up something new as spring rolls on around the corner. It's going to be a weekly series to C&T known as Outdated Technologies, where I post up a piece of technology that once existed, still exists but hardly gets used, or is no longer in general use. Pretty straightforward, right? :)
