  • Yee, well It was originally Pokémon Expert Emerald untill I completed the actual project a few weeks back and only MODS & Admins can change thread titles so I requested for it to be changed, any further releases are just minor additions/changes. ^^
It's not possible to find the trainer's name through Advance Map, but: you should have a script program 'linked' to A-Map, like "XSE" by HackMew. Anyway, if you double-click the trainer in A-Map, their script should open in XSE, and if you look through the text that appears you should find a line that says something like 'trainerbattle 0x0 0x72 0x0...'. You see that '0x72'? That's the Trainer's ID. If you search the numbers after the 'x' in A-Trainer (in this case, you would search '72'), then you should find the Trainer you're looking for :)
Hi there. Regarding your thread about Trainer Editing, I think you should try posting the question in the following thread to see if you get any answers:

However, I'm not entirely sure what you're asking. To edit trainers, you use a tool called Advance Trainer, or 'A-Trainer'. You find the trainer by their name, and can edit their Pokemon, items they can use, the money they give and the music that plays once they 'see' you in-game. You just edit existing trainers, and using their Trainer IDs (a three-digit-number), you can make a script that allows you to battle them in-game. It's pretty simple really, but as I said you should try asking in the Simple Question's thread :)
That's confusing how on earth you managed to get Game development mixed up with the Emulation section, even when you were trying to use the tools in that area a few months back...
Essentials questions go into the essentials thread, no need for a new thread, game dev recruitment goes into the team recruitment thread. Please try make an effort to read rules and thread names before posting.
