That's a tutorial for editing trainer sprites in BW but if you want to edit them in BW2 follow the same steps with the narc a/0/7/1 instead.

You use nitro explorer to access in game files. Animated sprites are in a/0/7/1, you extract the narc then you extract all the files Into a folder, you then use BWSE to edit the sprites. There are tutorials on YouTube.
