Oh I don't mind when people are loud for a constructive reason. Where I used to live there was someone who would practive clarinet for a few hours a day and it was lovely :) Could do without the arguing and shouting though, it gets boring fast because it's usually about nothing exciting haha. Are the karaoke people at least good at singing?

I think I'm with you on the preferring to be in the house, but after moving in with my partners family in the middle of nowhere and still having noisy neighbours I think I'd rather just disappear for a little bit
I'd love to be able to do that. I live in too much of an urban area so it's like an hour+ drive to anywhere that you can camp at, and it's probably even longer to get somewhere that isn't just a farmers field he's renting out haha
An old friend of mine used to do yearly retreats where he'd just live in the woods for a week and live off the land with nothing but some clothes and some equipment. The older I get living in the city the more I understand why he'd do that haha

And I'm the same, I haven't seen my friends in well over a year since they're all big nerds and have underlying health conditions so we don't want to risk anything. It's gonna be so exciting seeing everyone again and just getting to catch up :)
Yup! We've already started rolling out the vaccines, I think it's all adults with underlying health conditions are having it now and everyone over 50 should have had the first dose. They should be giving out the second dose to the first lot who got it soon too! I'm psyched to finally start getting back to normal again without having to worry about any consequences

I was planning on going to Sweden for an event in August, and Greece in either May or September as a last hurrah before I have a mortgage to pay off lol
Well I dove back into Pokemon, I decided to try and get a living dex going since I have the hardware to do it now. One of my projects was to build something to track it, but like my other projects I got about half way through and got distracted lmao.
I also used some of my days off from work to having gaming holidays last year, so I'd take a couple of days off work and have a 4-5 day weekend where I'd play through a game. So far I've done it for Control, Crash 4, and a ton of Minecraft :D
I think that's the best option tbh, just ride it out and get through it!
