I have talked with a number of people that are starting off in computer programing language classes at local colleges. Most of them have referenced me to Java and other object-oriented languages. If I take an interest I might just start to study some code from any and all recourses that I can find from Google. Remember, information is free; it is just the recourses that you pay for.

Well, I'll tell you: My preliminary PHP Map editor is done. It can now successfully edit the models and permissions on a map. I have new knowledge to make a better one though, which I am attempting now.

well, C++ isn't the only language out there you know. My map tools were legit done in PHP, you know, the server language. I'm trying to learn Python right now because tools done in C and C++ hurt me because i'm in Linux

No I have not. I would like to, but I am lacking a C++ Reference Book. I would like to know how these people hack these games and design the hacking tools for the games.
If I had this knowledge, I would make an RPG-Maker like Tool where scripting, maping, music sequencing, event/object placing, and everything else would be compiled all in one.
I would also would have had a beta of Pokemon Atlantic Version up if I did.
