  • I see. :3

The kids probably ask their parents to do it, or figured out how the whole thing works and use pre-paid gift cards to make the micro-transactions.

Game Freak does actually pay attention to these things, which is why Generation Six is trying to emulate Generation One.
Argh, the very thought of the micro-transaction ******** pisses me off.

Game developers need to understand that they can not do this to people, not while the economy is this shitty. Aside from those actions being incredibly selfish, eventually people will move out of the sheep mentality, and these greedy devs will go bankrupt.
Generation Six has a few excellent things to offer, though Game Freak caved to the Generation One fans and forced Gen 6 to emulate Gen One in several obvious aspects.

This of course is because Game Freak thinks they can make more money if they satisfy people who dwell in their childhoods, and also believe mimicking the old days can bring former fans back to the series. Little do they know...things don't work that way.
    I'd say it's a good choice.

I can't really decide on which Generation is my favorite, though...I think Generation One is a bit too overrated (hopefully nobody gets offended by me saying this). >_>
I see N remains in a popular spotlight, even today.

Are you a fan of Generation Five? :D
That sort of thread would belong as an [Idea] thread in the Beginner's Lounge, and once you get the correct amount of screenshots it could then move to Progressing Hacks or the Sideshow Showcase. For now, though, you should post it as an [Idea] thread in the Beginner's Lounge; remember that these types of threads should be primarily to discuss and develop the idea for your hack, and not to recruit people or get help (if that were the case, use the Recruitment & Team Building Thread or post a [Problem] thread for specific issues). I hope that helps!
Well, I assume they're the same in Gen 3 games by principle, so...

Flags are booleans (variables that can be on/off.)
Most of the time in Pokémon games, a flag will be used to say if something has happned or not.

    Here's an example in pseudo-code.

    Trigger's code:
If has happened then do nothing.
If hasn't happened then do script and say that it has happened afterwards.

When walking on this kind of trigger, the game will not run the script that contains all the content that you want to happen once, when it is stepped on again.
okay okay I get it you are so serious . Then let's get it started. 1) cut off the 5 option because I am gonna be this hack beta tester. 2) I know we cannot get people to work with us in this hack I think somebody name wolf in your thread wants to write dialogues.3) I make a friend in PC I think he probably gonna help us P.S( add me as friend)
