quick question to the monotype challenge: can I hack in certain evolutionary stones if acquiring them is difficult in the game? (i.e. winning first place in bug catching contest)

I honestly cannot remember the reason I came to your profile, it's totally slipped my mind after reading through the conversation below.

Just wanted to throw my two cents in on that and mention that I really like that you've made Kanto optional in GSC/HGSS for the Ultimate Monotype Challenge. My reason being that the challenge is to complete each region really, and Kanto is already included in other games.

Anywho - I'll probably be back here later once I get that eureka moment and remember what the heck I was actually here for in the first place.

First of, as a challenge owner, you should know how to take feedback, good or bad, without getting butthurt about it (which isn't wht you did). Second, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the ending points in Necrum's Monotype challenge so you changing that in spite of the fact that you more or less copied the rest of the rules almost word for word was quite silly. Third, as someone who was in the middle of doing this challenge before you even considered taking over, I have every right to express my objection to certain changes partaining it just like anyone else can. Fourth, considering you said GSC/HGSS are your favourite games, you, more than anyone else, should understand my reaction to that change. Last I knew, the monotype run was a "challenge". You removed the most challenging part of it. Now that you explained things, I understand why you did it, but it doesn't mean I have to agree with it. So we should just agree to disagree. But you should have expeced at least a bit of backlash regarding your decision.

Oh and I won't word anything a certain way or sugarcoat things for the sake of sugarcoating. If it was Necrum doing the change when he still owned the challenge, he would have got the exact same wording and the exact same reaction, maybe even more so since we're good friends and have been paired up for years. So I'm sorry you took offense in me being myself.
