I think I also played the card game before picking up Blue version. I actually took a massive gap from playing Pokemon TCG from the age of 12 but have picked it up casually again since around a year or so ago.

I know what you mean as well. I play both YGO online and with the actual cards, and while online play is good stuff, it's just not the same as playing IRL. The biggest difference between online play and IRL is that IRL you actually have a physical opponent sitting across the table from you. The psychological aspect of the game becomes much more real when face to face and believe me, there is a big psychological game in Yugioh. Body language can reveal a lot about what kind of cards the opponent has and the keen eye will abuse this knowledge to set up a favourable position.

But yeah, that's YUGIOH for you.
