I can't insert an MP3. I could only do an original MIDI, which the creator would probably not be distributing. I could insert one of the midis from VGMusic though.

That's because he uses sappy. I don't. Sappy is a very flawed program, so I steer away from it.

On the subject of the name of the team - is it because your hack is themed off of Tales? Because if that were the case, I think it would be more suiting for me to insert the music into that hack rather than a random DP themed hack.

Well, I'm kind of doing my own hack, so I am quite occupied right now. Once I complete inserting my own voicegroup for Kraehe, I wouldn't mind pitching in however, but that takes a long time.
