Truth be told, I have been wondering whether I may need someone else to play a jonin, or even co-GM. I don't have any idea who I would get for this, but I'll certainly keep you in mind.

I think what I'd probably do is introduce the jonin myself and play them for at least a few posts, then hand them over to someone else. Does that make sense?

I'll certainly consider it. I'm going to be trying to organise the squads so that their skills compliment each other and cover each others weaknesses' etc. I'm pretty sure that shouldn't be an issue for your two characters, as one is a taijutsu user and one is a genjutsu user.
