If it's your first time finishing the league, you can make a rematch in Johto. In the original game, there were people who gave evolution stones if they called you. In my hack they will give you one stone after winning the fight.

You can buy the stones on Saturdays at the Lighthouse, or at Bill's house in Kanto after showing the specific pokemon, just like in the original Crystal. Generation 4 stones are hidden in the game.
