  • Hi there. I've been trying to follow your tutorial on higher quality music, but I just can't seem to get past the part where I need to edit the RAM. I've tried looking everywhere for information on how to edit Fire Red's RAM, but I have had no luck. Would you be able to kindly guide me in the direction I should be going to finish your tutorial please? Thanks
Ahh, your point of view would make sense indeed. Knowing gamefreak, I couldn't have expected it to be as simple as using a song base. :/ Well despite I will do some more researching with both point of views in mind, I hope we can chat more about the topic sometime after the holidays. :)
Hello. From what I've read, I understand that you are quite the sound expert for the gameboy advance. I was wondering about something myself concerning the cries use in firered specifically, that I hope you could help answer. I am trying to expand the length of the cries used in firered because if you try inserting a .wav and replacing a given pokemon's cry pointer with it, it will cut off at about 2.237 seconds. My hunch is that all cries run off of a song base, and when a cry is played, that song uses the cry as its melody. Would you confirm this as true, or is it not the case? With that, I am looking for the cry playing routine and where it is branched. I am told that right before branching stores the song number in r0. Does that sound right so far? I'm making sure because I can't seem to find anything. Thanks for your help in advance.
Uhm... Hi ipatix~ Can you explain how to install your sound mixer in FR? I'm getting dizzy with all the text and stuff. Do I have to change any part of the ASM code or should I assemble it as is as a big bulk of code? I'm asking because I actually tried to follow your tutorial part in it but ended up having a white screen. :(
Okay. Just want to know about that Extended voice hack thingy. I guess you don't want to share though.. Sorry for bothering.
Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary!
I think that Extended voice hack is the only thing i need to make the songs in the game nicer. Any links for that?
    2002? I-i don't understand.. I just uploaded it yesterday :(
Btw its okay xD And also what's that extended voice hack? Can it make the sound in the game nicer?
Hey Ipatix. It's been a while since we've talked. I guess 5 months? XD Remember me? The one who asked you 'bout the dppt music patch in Emerald. Actually, now i'm planning to insert a NDS music in my rom. Successfully inserted it but still, im not yet that expert in voicegroups editing.. Can you help me? Just VM me if you want. Thanks. :) btw this is my first attempt on inserting a music. It's still far from the orig one. XD
    Spoiler:
Although, maybe that isn't so important. But could you please give me some more info on the song&track variables?
