    -tilts head- arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrighty then...

Story of my Facebook activity stream. I log on everyday to see someone pregnant and unmarried who is supposedly a Christian and I'm just like "really guys...really..." I don't expect people to be perfect, but don't preach morals you can't follow.

Policies of the United States federal goverment, in conjunction with the Federal Reserve System, and agencies such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac allowed this nonsense to take place. The federal government itself-along with Congress for writing the laws easing consumer access to mortgages and encouraging sub-prime lending, the Federal Reserve System for printing boatloads of money for the banks to loan out at unrealistically low interest, and Fannie and Freddie for guaranteeing those risky sub-prime mortgages, thereby burdened with the consequences once those mortgages failed. Yes, private companies are to blame in this also-such as those mortgage lenders offering stuff like JUMBO mortgages up to $1 million in which one can borrow up to 110% of the cost of the house, with no documentation needed (on the part of the borrower) whatsoever!
Still feeling the after-effects of Reaganomics, we are. Ironically, the loosening of these policies was what got us out of a recession during Reagan's first term. Of course, the senior President Bush and President Clinton didn't sign any restrictions into law, while the younger President Bush proceeded to push forth even more loosening of regulations.

Hi again It's been 2 Months and things are worse. TARP has just kept the Financial sector from Imploding but didn't fix anything..., and how do you keep your account invisible?
Hay...The US is now a Pinata in the Davos Economic Forum and the concept of Capitalism as it was is now considered a sham across the world.

Heh...You are a Libertarian. That's good since we get another perspective. Nice article by the way. The weird thing is how come Ron Paul went Republican while espousing Libertarian ideas of less government? =/ Nothing against you guys by the way, it's sad how the 2 Party system in the US has forced us to choose the "lesser evil" but eh we need that 2-Party system in order to ensure a majority in Congress and induce efficiency. Otherwise we'll be like the Canadians (Which I prefer and look up to but most Americans look down upon) with a Parliament that consists of 4 Parties that compete for a voice and a Minority Government (The Conservatives only have about 38% of the vote) which causes paralysis in Government action.
But the thing is before the HMO's were given the full green light by the Nixon administration the Government was on a course to start paying for health-care as the GDP's largest expenditure. HMO's essentially increased efficiency and lowered healthcare costs. (But the thing is they're driven by profit and shun others out and are not subject to the people.) Yet still that was a great article by Ron Paul about the Positives of eliminating the middle-man in Healthcare. Even though I still believe that a single-payer government HealthCare system aka "socialized medicine" is still better for our nation because it has the power of the union to negotiate lower prices for prescription and generic drugs yet still gives everyone a backwall and the assurance that they are well cared for. Don't worry I understand your position ^_^

Heh...It's nice to see you in the Debate Thread. I've seen you on the "Obama Running Mate" thread a while ago and you really sound like your well informed and very articulated. ^_^ It's nice to see a Libertarian here.

So you agree that we need UHC like Canada´s. Seriously I think that the US is too Conservative to truly accept such a great program.

I must say, 2017 has been a year of big changes, not just around the US and world politically and economically, but for me and my mom as well.

For the purposes of this blog entry, I’m going to focus mainly on things happening in my life through 2017.

Given that there had been a bevy of changes in my life here and there starting in 2014, one of the first major changes for 2017 was that I completely rearranged my bedroom layout, including moving the bed to a new location...

As everybody can tell, so much has been going on in the world lately. Much of it has been driving me crazy, of course.

I haven’t thought about much to write about as far as blogging goes the past few months. Sometimes, I get ideas, and they escape me shortly afterwards.

Over the past several years, my relationship with my mother as a son has become increasingly strained. There isn’t a day that goes by anymore that doesn’t have an argument of some sort. Much...

You may or may not have noticed that I haven’t been making forum posts much less blogging here lately. Just want to let everyone know I’m still alive, but I’ve been busy with various things, not to mention that I’ve been kind of depressed at times over the past few months over how things have been going at home, as well as around the world.

First problem my mom and I have been dealing with is our neighbors. True, we’ve had to put up with them encroaching on what little...

This spring has brought forth lots of changes in the broadcast media world, the business world, and others.

First off, in the religious broadcasting world, during the last full week of April, as I brought up in a thread over in Discussions and Debates, the IRS and US Postal Inspection Service raided Benny Hinn’s ministry headquarters in Texas. As was discussed on the April 27th edition of TruNews with Rick Wiles, this raid was planned quite some time ago, and a former employee...

For those of you that haven’t heard already, over the past year, many television stations in the United States participated in an ‘incentive auction’, where they would sell their spectrum and sign off permanently, to make room for an upcoming removal of Channels 38 and above as part of Obama’s National Broadband Plan. Now that the auction has been completed, the FCC worked on repacking remaining stations into RF Channels 36 and below (Channel 37 is still reserved for radio astronomy)....
