oh i started writing poetry when i was about 9... was very active with it in my teens as well. Although, I would consider them more just shear writings (philosophical statement) and not actual poetry per say. they do have actual structure to them, but not very traditional as far as rhyming or anything basic beyond that... what i would consider more as my poetry though would have to be my old song lyrics i wrote back in the day.

I'll have to get back into writing them then. :)
