Haha yes, I feel the same. Yellow and Ruby were the first games I owned but my best friend lended me Gold and I loved it so much.

I recommend Platinum :) it's a refined version of D/P and for that day and age, the route design and the story felt surprisingly good. Might overall be my fav version.

hii, i saw you say that Red and Gold are some of your favorite pokémon game versions? That's interesting, I don't hear many saying that their favs are the oldschool games :3 Surprised to hear you haven't tried HeartGold though O: have you played some other 4th gen game?

Ah man, I have yet to try Pokemon Red. Closest I’ve come to playing something similar is Pokémon Yellow & Firered, but I didn’t finish either of them and need to return to those games. Don’t have my cute little gameboy advance anymore, but man did that thing carry memories haha. Ever had a gameboy advance? Maybe just the regular gameboy that you needed light to play with?

The fifth generation in general is another favorite generation of mine. It also has my own favorite pokémon: Bisharp. Who knows, maybe our favorite Pokémon together could make a cute neat story: Bisharp the knight vs Charizard the dragon when it comes to saving the princess from a tower ;3 Gardevoir could be the princess ~

Mmmmmm… I don’t actually recall what my team in those games were ; - ; But what I do remember was the cute little Plusle you could get from helping Duking <3 I kept that little thing.

But thank you for the welcome! And in regards to your question back at the thread, I would say my favorite Pokémon game overall would have to be the GameCube games: XD & Gale of Darkness. Other than nostalgia, I just really loved seeing the Pokémon come to life in the form they were animated. How about yourself? What are your favorite Pokémon games?
