  • me too omggg! then my walk to work will be 10 minutes. instead of the lovely 2-2.5 hr commute I have now 8D
yeah tell me about it >_< Darn busyness. I just had an apartment viewing today so I'm hoping I'll be chosen =)
Hey! Sorry I'm incredibly busy lately, and forget to reply to VMs >.< I'm good hbu? <3
What also irks me is seeing the Sun & Moon saga getting so many positive reviews from the internet fandom. It's suffering from copycat syndrome and extremely slow pacing because I have been seeing more pointless fillers and very little plot progression from the episodes so far, yet everyone seems to praise it.

I do not praise copycats, because it is delivering the wrong message.
When I saw the falling ratings for XY I clearly knew there was a problem. It's like the writers don't want to lose their young fans to a rival franchise and they wanted to go to drastic measures just to win them back.

Also, the SM dub is even worse. I feel that because of Ash's new design looking younger, his VA should have been replaced or Sarah should have tried to make her Ash voice sound younger.
That's right. It's like the anime staff took the idea to do a Yo-Kai Watch all because Alola is not like the other regions.
Yeah Sarah is still voicing Ash. Disney XD is just the new broadcaster to American audiences.

However, I absolutely hate Ash's design in Sun & Moon. He now looks and acts like a complete dork (all while somehow retaining his strength) and his outfit is the exact same as the male game protagonist except for colour changes. His outfits were always modelled off the game protagonists, but never wore the exact same outfit as that region's protagonist until now.

Also, that new school setting and slapstick focus just screams Yo-Kai Watch copycat. Pokemon had been losing to Yo-Kai in the ratings so it's like the anime writers knew copying the format was the only way to win the target audience back.
I had terrible bouts of jealousy on PC, causing me to feel sour around staff members because I knew I lacked the right image. It hurt me so badly that I took a hiatus over if I'm even liked here anymore.

I have a terrible sin of succumbing to greed and being power-hungry, and that's why my attitude took a terrible dive and caused my hiatus. Seriously, don't let your biggest sin consume you because it'll ruin you.
It's improving. Recovering from a depression state coupled with a computer's broken cooler fan can take very long.
Well, it wasn't that way in the beginning. The very first Splatfest was Cats vs Dog. Callie was Team Cat, as was I. Dogs won because of sheer popularity. x'D
It was tricky to decide, but in the end I chose Team Past! Historically, the side Callie is aligned with has won more worldwide, and the dinosaur shirt is cute. xD I predict Team Past will win, therefore, more Sea Snails.
I'm doing well. I got off work early and I have tomorrow off. :) Right now I'm listening to this video discussing Pokémon's 20th anniversary.
    Spoiler:
So how long have you played Splatoon? I got the game around the time it launched in late May. My, how it has grown since then!
Sometimes that happens, unfortunately. Splatoon is a team game after all. I don't take losses too hard unless it's ranked mode, haha.
Yes! I love Splatoon. I haven't played it in a while but it's a fun multiplayer game. Eh, in regular battles, how much you get splatted or splat doesn't really matter too much, so long as it doesn't stop your team from spreading the most ink.
Unfortunately Amiibo Festival doesn't look like a very enthralling party game. :( As tempting as it s to collect the cute amiibo, I like my amiibo to be functional in games I use, and I just don't see any appeal from Amiibo Festival... x'D I forget if they have any functionality in other games.
I haven't even played HHD or Amiibo Festival. I have no interest in the amiibo game, but elements from HHD would be cool in the next full Animal Crossing game.
Just chilling, working on a drawing. How are you? I see you've been posting in the Animal Crossing fan club. :o
