The impression I got was that you believed your parents weren't contributing financially to raising you, because they don't buy you new clothes. Whether or not you're spiteful is irrelevant. You seemed very, very unaware of how much living in general costs because you think your 60 bucks every other month was covering bills and food and clothes and everything necessary to support yourself (or even "mostly" or "basically" or whatever word you used there). I have no way of knowing what your emotional relationship with your parents is; however, I do have a way of knowing the rough cost of living on your own, so I can guarantee your parents are supporting you way more financially than you like to think.

Well, if you want a short answer, I'm not completely against government, hell I work for it, but I don't want it to slip into totalitarianism and historically most totalitarian governments disarm their citizens, if not all of them. I love America and I don't want it to go down that path. Plus, wouldn't you feel powerless if someone in power had something you don't? Also, you didn't set me off, Atomic Pirate's ignorant post about libertarians did.

Genuinely think I kept to the topic though! (At least, as well as his posts allowed me to!) Okay, I did make one single comment about him getting high, but he probably didn't understand what that meant.

My simplified post was of genuine concern that he wouldn't be able to read my post again. Ah well, life goes on. I think it does discredit the opposition when it comes to how silly their posts are and when they're interpreting unfavourable posts as favourable. Never, ever, ever becoming a politician.
