My attitude changed after I posted a Harry Potter spoof I originally wrote up for April Fool's day. I had a guy ask me if I took story requests and I said yes. Thereafter, I opened up to doing more. I still have to finish a few but I've also taken some drawing requests too now (though I'm not that good of artist). Right now, I've taken to another site, Weasyl, since FA's down. I may make that my main art site now...if FA doesn't really recover. Truth be told, I was paranoid after the last DDoS attack in 2010/11 and didn't visit the site for weeks afterwards.

Furries are generally forgiving most places. FA is hit and miss. For the longest time I was sort of an outcast, but that was more my doing... I tend to avoid getting involved in online communities unless I have a really good reason. After I opened up to doing small art/writing requests, I started making a couple friends finally. Otherwise, I did have a few on a couple furry forums.

For me, I'm generally on Furaffinity, but I decided to join Weasyl this morning after FA crashed. I'm hoping they resolve things on FA soon because I have a few art/writing requests I intended to post this week, but that apparently isn't going to happen now. :/

Glad you're taking it well. Some people didn't before when I told them I'd get to their stories later. In any case, I may as well start proofreading now, and try and get you a little review before the night's over. I'm a little miffed at the moment because one site I was doing things on crashed yesterday due to a DDoS attack, and then another one I just joined as sort of a backup is lagging now (presumably due to the same thing). Not sure what the deal is, but apparently someone has it out for furry sites... >.<

Oh, derp! That's right... It's a spoof of Area 51 actually in the deserts of Nevada. They did an episode about it actually wherein an Elgyem was found in Sector 48. But, my best guess would be Route 4, if you want to go off the games.

Yeah, I don't blame you. Um, one of the super mods, Drohn, actually offered me a lifeline after I rejoined to troll some months ago, but I turned it down and told him to ban my troll account. I haven't been there since.

Unova actually does have a desert. Route 4, iirc. Kalos...? There are wastelands in Western Kalos, but they're far from desert-like. Perhaps they're mentioning foreign deserts in different regions. I know the Kanto/Johto dexes put forth that paradox too in Gen IV.
