  • You haven't been here recently I see. Probably occupied with your studies (that would be why I wasn't here the time before). I was just wondering how your game is doing and that I got mine ready for an release :)
I know, right? Then again, the game was probably referring to Red from the Manga or something...

Hahaha, you can find a list of unicode symbols by searching it up. Did you do that?
Red was in my mind when I typed that. It still shocks me that Red ≠ Ash.

(Off-topic, that symbol is NOT an easy one to find.)
I should add I haven't played the game yet; I don't know if the Hero is mentioned. It would have been neat if he became the Champion. Instead, we merely get Iris, someone White players have already vanquished. Interestingly, N's storyline continues even if the Hero goes missing. Maybe he appears in the post-game somewhere, but in the video I saw, he doesn't appear in Numeva Town at all. Kind of a shame. The room upstairs appears to be untouched from what I've seen; it hasn't changed in two years.
Riolu? Sangi Ranch. No percentages in that article yet, though an early walkthrough at GameFAQs gave it a 5% chance. That walkthrough stops at Castelia City, tho.
I knew Riolu would get your attention. :D They are also in Challenger's Cave in B/W, but highly leveled; B2/W2 is the first game where they are readily available at a low level (though still somewhat rare perhaps). That's pretty much the reason I want the game, too, as I first met Lucario in the Smash Bros. series and thought, "He's cool".

One more change that is interesting is that the path to Numeva Town still exists...as a post-game route. In fact, the Skyarrow Bridge is closed until you beat the E4, so that entire four-town stretch is entirely a post-game activity. No clue about Black City/White Forest, an area that can be visited during the storyline now from all appearances as the Pokémon are in the 30s around Route 14. I'll have to head that way after getting to Nimbasa City to see if it's true.
    Cyclone appears!

Messaging as I said I would.

I actually find Black 2/White 2 to be a huge improvement. I wasn't a fan of the Cold Storage area, which to me seemed like a quick put-together to create a plot point; I'm somewhat glad the area is gone (and the PWT is there now!). The storyline surrounding Route 10/Victory Road is interesting with R10 being fenced off in Opelucid City (I have also seen what it looks like standing where the gatehouse is thanks to Youtube and someone walking through the fence). And Challenger's Cave also caved in; big deal, it was post-game and again seems like a quick add to an otherwise boring area. I also like the new hometown, which seems to be a response to the many hacks here that also create big starting towns (I'm playing one right now, a beta of Shining Opal).

B2/W2 also gives you older Pokémon in the Unova region immediately; Riolu, in fact (see Lucario), is available at Level FIVE, making it obvious that they are native to the Unova region as they are the only games where they've been found in the wild (Safari Zone doesn't count and even the Bulbapedia article says they were imported to HG/SS now, which I believe). In short, don't hesitate about B2/W2 when the English version comes out; go buy it. I will. It's the first sequel, and some of the changes (Meteors on Route 6 or something, sewers of Caetelia City, actually using that plane in Mistralton City) are very nice and worth playing. I just wish the plane could be upgraded post-E4 to visit Kanto or Johto again, making either Pallet or New Bark Town (or somewhere completely random, making the old hometown a new Gym) the player's home. Maybe in the next game; they may have done this in between to get people to buy this, then people will want the next. Very smart of them if so.
That text in the signature is Manectric's Pokedex entry on Dawn's Pokedex from the anime episode The Electrike Company!, which is the 42nd Diamond & Pearl episode. Dawn looks it up in the Pokedex just after Jaco's Electrike evolves.

It was one of my fave Diamond & Pearl episodes cos I liked the plot.
The what? Sorry, but with my English I can't really understand this word combination… *still curious what it means*

Also, I just silently edited my post, too :D Just to tell you not to forget the shadowings in the end ;)
I saw your comment on an LP today and I just wanted to say, of course you can comment on peoples threads. :)
