    Hey, there, just wanted to say thank you so much for your amazing engines and feature additions for Emerald. They really do take romhacking to another level. I was wondering, because it was mentioned in the header of the EM Battle Engine page, that one of the features used to be removing encryption? Would you still have the code to do that available?     hello KDS i testing insert new particles in EM battle engine, the last particle id is Attack order and have this template:
    launchtemplate TEMPL_0x9f2f2dc
    how i can calcule offset for the new templ, for the next particle ?

    Hey KDS~ I just wanted to ask the ff:
    1. Is there an update yet to the item and Pokemon data expansion?
    2. Are the EM hacks (the battle engine, dizzy's, you know 'em) safe to work with an updated devkitarm now? Because I wanted to try pokeruby but apparently it needs devkitarm to be up to date and I dunno if there's a way to install 2 versions of devkitarm.

    Sorry for the noobish questions. Can't find you on Discord. :/ If you need a hand with the items or the pokemon data, I can help, most probably. :/

    how i can make one animation of grassy field (move) occur in grassy surge (ability),
    because the move have animation but the ability not have.

    So just to be clear, the routine and the game will differentiate between items and their usage just by the second held effect byte?

    And at 43978 XX+1 XX XX is a thumb (should I permute the offset)?

    I was reading this ( and I came into a lil doubt, If I compile this routine into FR, Macho Brace will do all the job or I have to modify this for each new item? Not sure about this...

    Well, I actually already inserted all new item sprites and palettes, would that help? And I'm gonna go ask MrDs about the Pokemon data now too. :)

    Heya KDS~ I just wanted to ask you about this post:
    You need to edit the newly added slots manually in PGE. But I and MrDollsteak are planning to add data from Gen 1-7 in the expansion code itself.
    I wanted to know the estimated time frame you two can finish this or is there any way I can help? I really want to finish this as soon as possible so I'll try to help as best as I can. :)
