Sure you can be a spriter :)
The game needs some rescuing though, I've currently got the game stored on a HD that no longer boots up.. But I'd always love the spriting help, it's so boring being a spriter by yourself.. I recently found some old pokemon sprites I made a few years back, don't have the back sprites anymore but they're still cool to see..
