I don't really understand why the palletes are messed up.
If you noticed, in LoG, everytime the first picture appears, there's a slash of the picture box, then gone, and then it appears again.
That was my temporary way of fixing it.
The first picture always has a messed-up pallete, but the following ones won't.
So, picture appears, hide it, and then show it again.

That seems like more of a problem with your sprite. Are you sure it's inserted properly, and you haven't over-written the palette?
If the sprite and palette are correct, then the problem isn't your script; it's the engine itself and fixing it will be way more than I'm guessing you're capable of, and would take me a while to figure out also. ( by a while, I mean I would forget I was doing it a few times, and it will likely never be figured out ). However, I suspect you've simply over-written the sprite's palette on accident.
