No, no, not really haha. More like themes and ideas are v similar across the board, especially for fantasy authors who really got started on fantasy with LotR.

It's also pretty cool because Tolkien is where a LOT of authors take ideas from so once you read LotR you can see it all over the place.

They're pretty good but you kinda really gotta be into fantasy/high fantasy/long-form stuff to really appreciate it? They're not a casual franchise haha.

I read them when I was like. Actually way too young to get them really? I was 10-ish. I really do enjoy them but they're kind of a hard read. :P

yeaaah I probably shouldnt have been on the internet when I was 10 but our library had public computer access so we played like. RuneScape and such and then branched out haha. &absolutely! I will be here as long as PC is I hope~

Good, I'm glad! I feel like since people aren't really used to the format of forums nowadays they get bored or just dont like it, you know? So I'm honestly so happy when people recognize what a nice lil community we have. :D

pffft yeah I dont know how that happened. Time really flew haha! I was v young when I joined too, just 10. I've... I've been on PC over half my life...

It's all good :D But yeah I really am glad you stuck around and ended up being part of Amazing Race and all cause you're cool and fun~ There are a lot of people that go through Main Street who drop PC after they get whatever answer theyre looking for or smthn. :(
