It was nice. My family had a small gathering. Have you started Christmas shopping? They set up christmas in stores very early.

I keep switching Pokemon. The hardest part of new pokemon games for me is sticking with an actual team. So much new stuff I want to use. Also so many old favorites. All the pokemon that have been on my team so far: Quaquaval, Ursaring, Honchcrow, Kilowattrel, Frosslass, Axew, Tinkaton, Camerupt, Houndstone, and Brambleghast. (it's amazing that i can even recall of all this without looking). How far are you as of right now?

Our dog is suffering a heart issue. Sadly, vets are so expensive. Has gone over $1,000 for her treatment. One of my siblings stepped in and helped cover the cost.

I might play the other version eventually. Hoping they make a patch? It would be nice playing these games in a smoother way.

I am legitimately having fun with these Pokemon games. Seeing the new pokemon always gives me a sense of wonder. I didn't keep up with the news or leaks so practically everything has been new.

I am 4 badges in, 3 titans out, and 2 bases finished. Faster than usual but speaks to how much I've liked it so far.

So...dogs are interesting in that those first few months are crucial for the habits they learn for the rest of life. Much like small children. As as puppy, they do go crazy with chewing and it's important to keep stuff out of reach. Again, this typically stops after a few months. Adult dogs are normally calmer, and will even find ways to communicate with you. Our pomeranian would scratch her water bowl when thirsty. Most are also highly intelligent and aware of surroundings. I got 120 stars on Mario 64. I did the same thing for Mario Sunshine. Didn't end up liking Galaxy though. Have you had any experiences of liking one game and not liking another in a series?

Yeah when my mother was a teenager she burned herself lighting fourth of july fireworks. Went right down her stomach. She still has the scars. I haven't seen the leaked starters, but probably picking water no matter what anyways.

Our dog definitely has separation anxiety. I do find it amazing how dogs can communicate. Ours will come up and tap me on the shoulder with her paw when she wants outside.

Also hey, new pokemon game soon. Apparently the starters evolutions leaked but I haven't seen them yet.

Felt sore all day. That fall I took was not good, but hopefully this feeling will settle down in the morning. Developed red marks on my head.

I like the zelda franchise, so some interest was there. Apparently the HD version can be played with a controller. Will have to see how well it does.

Dogs can be a handful but if being trained well, I think after the first few months of being a puppy they do settle down. Funny how each dog will have it's own quirks. Like, for example ours takes every bit of food downstairs into her kennel. Even if it's something like a mini cracker, she will take that thing all the way down the steps. Also I mentioned that she stashes all her toys in there too. But dogs are also very loving. If one of us leaves the house, our dog will be sitting on the steps or near the window waiting for us to return.

Is the the older art style which you find ugly? Animation has improved so that would be a bigger deal breaker for me. If you've seen Pixar movies, you can see a quality jump there too. Apparently it would take about 400 hours (or 16 straight days) to see all episodes of one piece.

Noticed at the vehicle department and amongst other places they give you a clipboard with a pen to sign your information. It's always chained on the right side. Not a major issue, but these little things crop up all the time. I do like that video games are inclusive. On the Wii, there will usually be an option for left handed motion control. Except on Skyward Sword. They made Link right handed and took out the option. So unfortunately I can't play it properly. They didn't fix it for the HD version either.

Saw a pomeranian so morning looking out a car window. Was so cute and reminded me of our old dog. Well, 17 days until Gen 9. Any new thoughts so far? I hope the games are well received. Noticed quite a bit of unhappiness over the last few generations, and it would be nice if there would be a universally loved title.

Random, but want to go back and watch Legend of Korra now. I think trying to watch a sequel series so quickly was a poor choice, because I ended up tiring immediately. Almost watched one piece then saw 1,000+ episodes.

The ink smearing can happen with pencils too. Although not at the same extent. Most things I use 'incorrectly' and I look clumsy, but it's only because there isn't a proper way for many left handed objects and it means adjusting until I find a comfortable way of holding them. There are stories of parents and teachers forcing children to become right handed. Luckily never happened with me, and both bone fractures had been my right arm. So I was able to keep writing without an issue.

Well it's a little under 3 weeks now. Did you see the new ghost dog Pokemon? Oh, does that mean clothing isn't gender locked? I never liked the lack of customization for male characters. My character on Ultra Sun right now is so bland looking. I play a girl character on animal crossing because the options are so much better too. (but I kept my real name so it gets a little strange).

The snow on the text banner was an accident. I was trying to resize an image into it but the zoomed in snow looked better so I kept it.

I actually like Salemence more than Dragonite now. Weird since it was the exact opposite before. I think out of all Pokemon Salemence has grown on me the most. My opinions have changed a few times. At one point Mew was my favorite Pokemon. I can't complete a dex on switch. Nobody to trade with. I even beat Leon with a Swirlix on my team. However I can easily trade on 3DS.

I don't mind being left handed. Although it would be much more convenient being right handed. The world is built for right handed. For example, at Christmas I can hardly wrap gifts. Scissors are difficult. Left handed objects are rare and expensive. I can't use a can opener either. Those are a nightmare. Sorry if I sound complainish.

How are you feeling so far about the new Pokemon game? Trailers have released and new Pokemon are being shown. Are there any new Pokemon in particular you like? They also showed a new mario movie trailer. The animation looks pretty.

Dreading having to get all the pseudo legendary pokemon leveled up. (alolan dex includes every single one of them besides hydreigon).

Luckily Salamence is part of my story mode team, and I got Garchomp in the dex through a trade. That'll cut a few hours of grinding.

Now 40% through the Alolan Dex.

Happiness evoultion has been very easy. Getting a level 1 egg + soothe bell with rotom boosted frendship. Go into a high level area and it takes 30 seconds.

Wonder trading frequently helps too. Never know what could be sent and registered into the dex.

It's probably not the same condition, but that's somewhat relatable. I get random fluid buildup on my left ear. The first time it happened I was getting such bad headaches and ended up going to Urgent Care. Now have stuff to drain it but still takes a while. Happened again in July. Took 2 weeks until I could hear again.

I always thought it was an interesting theory that if aliens had the technology to travel and visit us, we would appear primitive in comparison. I like that it's now generally accepted that there is alien life out there. Space is considered infinite so of course there must be something.

Looked through the hand dominance topic again. And ouch. Not much of a left handed population here. I'm perfectly okay with being left handed though. I've adapted smoothly but some things will always be a bit upsetting. For example:

I can't write in pen without smearing my fingers with ink. Additionally most desks are built for right handed. (hurts inside when the only seat available looks like this).

I never thought about that, but yeah technology is really not moving at rapid pace anymore. I look forward to advances in the medical field. Maybe someday we will have natural cures for things such as blindness, and people will no longer have to go through life with such ailments. I loved VR. Did it with my family at Universal Studios and thought it was amazing. Then again, I think the tech they use is more advanced. Currently home products are more of a prototype. I wonder what happened to space exploration. 1960's humans reached the moon, yet we never went back.

Unfortunately I wouldn't be able to know him. My dad passed away. I was 3 years old at the time. I still get curious and occasionally ask questions. My mother doesn't mind, but some of the grief is still there. I don't think you can ever truly recover from that. So I keep questions short and easy to answer.

I'm on Team Guerreros. There's only 2 teams, correct? I think it's amazing this is the 20th get together. Maybe next year I'll try hosting an event. Wanted to do it this year, but computer issues.
