Heh, I know what you mean, breeding is really great this generation. I haven't bred much though, since I don't have a lot of time, and well, it gets kinda repetitive, and I haven't started EV training either. I'm kinda on a break from X and started doing a couple of challenges on older gens.

Well, I'm back to work, I was on vacation until yesterday; I spent the holidays with my family. It was so hard to get up in the morning for work though {XD}

I've been training more Pokemon than usual, thanks to the Exp. Share and boosted experience for those that you've played a lot with in Amie. Mostly I've been using Aurorus, Lapras, Greninja, Charizard, Talonflame, Skitty, Floette, Skrelp, Malamar, Pikachu, Eevee, Kadabra, Vespiquen, and two Espurr, boy and girl. They range from level 24 - Léo the French that I got on Wonder Trade, that I've yet to decide what to evolve into, to level 40 - Opal the Aurorus that I got myself from the Sail Fossil.

I think it's pretty crazy that I'm actually taking my time exploring everything and playing with my Pokemon, instead of running straight to the next Gym, I guess that's what makes this game so awesome ^^

I'll have to get myself one. Luckily they're in the same area. :P

Hmm try using a Scatterbug with Compound Eyes as your lead, the ability will increase the odds of the wild Pokemon holding an item ;)

It just went so fact, I loved the first episode, and then they just skipped so many gyms and moments in the games, I would've liked a full series, but I guess it would've cost too many resources and would've been tough to keep it high-quality.

Origins was really cool, especially the battle scenes, so much better than most battles in the main anime.

Just so you know, the games don't have their specific FC, they use the 3DS FC. It took me a while to figure it out, had to google it because I couldn't find my FC in the game {XD}

It took him 10 soft-resets to get a female Impish Froakie. I don't really care about natures for the moment, plus he was already getting bored. But Timid is a really good nature, 'grats!

I went with Charmander because he my bf wants Mega Charizard X as well, and I also have to use a Pikachu I got in a Wonder Trade because he likes Pikachu -- like I said, he's a Pokemon newbie, so he only knows Gen 1 'mon {XD}

So anyway, I've caught up on the progress I made before restarting, and then some. Plus I look like me in RL now, hehe.

I chose the girl character; I wanted black hair, and the skin tone is way darker than how it looks like in the preview, but I'm not resetting now.

[EDIT] Scratch that, the skin tone really bothered me, and I realized you can change the hair color later on, so my boyfriend convinced me to restart. I still really want a female Froakie, so he's soft-resetting for me now, it's hilarious 'cause he doesn't even play Pokemon at all {XD}

And I got X, started with Miette the Froakie, I got female, lucky! I'm going soooo slow, I'm wasting way to much time with Pokemon-Amie. It seems like I need to learn how to make googly eyes and wink with my left eye {XD}

Hey! It went fine, our PM is satisfied with the outcome, he was able to make new connections and actually have some people write articles about our product. Though he hasn't shown us any of those articles, hehe, so he may be exaggerating as usual.

We have a few interns now that we're slowly introducing to the project. I'll be working closely with two of them, one will pick up on a feature I've investigated a few months ago, the other will work on a brand new feature that he's been investigating last week. They seem interested in learning new stuff, which is great, and they're always asking questions. It's a really nice feeling to be able to answer those questions, considering I've been in their shoes only two years ago.

That's pretty much it. I'll be going on a short trip to the seaside in a couple of weeks, can't wait!
