Hello :O I just noticed that PkStation has started to close. You probably know that already though... but anyway, I think it's sad, because there was a whole community there, and there will be people that I'll never be able to talk to again :( But at least we can still talk here! My English is far better than my Spanish, anyway... How has it been for you?

Yeah, the Pokémon Etymology articles that you made are still there, as you can see here: [1][2] Nobody's even touched them, either...

Funny thing, when I was playing through HeartGold, I got a female Nidoran from the Pokéwalker and decided to keep it throughout the whole game. And now in my current FireRed playthrough, I'm using a male Nidoran. Just thought I'd like to let you know.

By the way, definitively sounds a bit weird in that context... definitely sounds better... at least, to me, anyway.

You should go back to Pokéteca sometime... I don't know if you're busy or what, but when you have the time, it could always use your help.

Good to hear back from you, especially since we haven't talked in months, and good to hear that you've been OK. I've been OK too, but I've also been stressed out a little bit from issues in real life.

Oh, and I'm still obsessed with Fire-type Pokémon! You've probably heard of Pokémon Black and White. When those games come out, I'm definitely going to choose Pokabu as my starter! That probably wouldn't surprise you, though...

(As for Pokéteca, I hope that we'll see each other again on that site. The good thing is that a lot more people have been contributing to it lately (and there are new "Pokétecarios"), which helps a lot. Yay! And I still contribute too, lately I've added articles about various Kanto routes and other things.)

No matter, we have Polar Bears over here, which, I admit, aren't as pwnsome as Penguins, but we've gotta start somewhere.

Nice to see you're being cheery-ish again. XD

Winter? Oh right, you're on the other end of the latitude spectrum.

I've been fine here. While life isn't a bed of roses, it's been going okay. I've been busy with some stuff, education mostly. With Summer coming up, I too will have much more free time.

Sadly, I'm a bit lacking in the Western entertainment section as my knowledge of the Simpsons is limited to watching it online and occasionally on Channel 4. I do watch some notable western shows though...

Why not both? Well currently, I'm in a crappy situation what with an apparent break-up(not me though, I'm a celibate and I'd rather not say who.) in the works somewhere. Also, money constraints and me trying to find a job is kind of taxing on studies. I hope to get one by October-November at least because I'll have a bike by then. As you might have guessed, I'm not actually alone in the UK since I have my family here with me so we're all in this together goes that song I suppose. Also, I have a few deadlines to meet plus learning French so life's a bit hectic as of now... Plus, my education got pushed back a year since I was born in September. And yeah, a bit lonely here since I don't talk with people much because they find it hard to understand my Malaysian English which sounds different so I mostly keep contact with my M'sian friends on Facebook along with some friends on PC.

Also, Paradicholorobenzene. I was never that good at Chemistry, because I prefered Physics, but Chemistry is just applied Physics so what the hey.

    I suppose. Communication is good.

My crack right now is police procedurals. Hard to get any of their toy lines around here, if any. At least I get to watch the episodes, in a weekly midnight-to-dawn marathon I run weekly at Wednesdays. As for videogames, I'm in the "reexplore the joys of playing Super Mario bros 3" phase. Since I already have the cartridge, the issue is the console (NESes are known for a design mistake that wears down their connectors quickly). I'm not ashamed to admit that I have to play the games emulated, I am outrageous at the fact I still can't find a decent joystick, however (or a practical manner to connect my SNES joystick to the USB port).

About the operation, yes, I saw pretty star formations dancing around my head for about four days. Fortunately they didn't do anything to my mood, if if they did everyone have been so bastard nice not to tell me. 157 was so kind to suggest me to get drunk, but I took the surefire path of swallowing one Ibuprofen, some drink I can't remember, and go sleep with my girl cat on my lap. Purr goodness.

Interesting thing about your username and the nom de plume thing, and the particular choice of adjectives related to the image it projects (I always thought of you as a person with elegance and a bit of malice for some reason...) -- and thus suggests me to suggests you to keep your current username, but then again the one who has to weight it up is you.

And about 157, I met him as Buoysel. Then he renamed a couple of times, and eventually settled in a some-oriental-stuff-that-apparently-means-Bakphoon some time ago and then finally to "157". I liked it because not only are 5 and 7 prime numbers (and one might have wanted to classify 1 as such in former times), but 157 is also prime; he hadn't seem to realize the significance of his choice of username, if it had any. And it was a welcome change since refering to him in the Bold Topics Index was becoming a crotchache(I eventually settled to call him Bakphoon). But it is so weird to have to refer to someone by number... I heard he is changing it for a variation of his real name.
I'd rather stay partially anonymous until the time comes I won't be ostracized for liking Pokémon or Final Fantasy... so maybe I'll keep my username as is, or changing it to capital S. The name "Solovino" comes from a cat I read about and I consider the cat's story to have been fundamental to my character forming. Plus it has a meaning in Spanish (my native language) as well, when split in two, it can be read as the english phrase "alone he/she/it/xe/ey came", which, since I usually move alone and have a sort of ability to land where needed silently and surprisingly, as if summoned, fits me quite well. Actually, I was on the receiving end of a Memetic Mutation some years ago because of that.

But that's story for another wall-o-text (I plan of making these commonplace when I VM to people ;) )!

    Anyways, seeing you soon.
Contrast your liberal use of language. That's what I meant, but I totally get where you're coming from with sounding technical. I use a different tone when I do FF reviews than to when I VM friends.

Oh no, by all means vent away. It's good for the soul, or so I've heard. It does seem like you're having a rough time so I won't burden you by pushing my problems on you.

Here's to hoping you get better in a certain way.

Uh, no it doesn't sound all that dirty, maybe you should lay off the porn? j/k

My first week of class went pretty good. I'll keep this short so you can do other things untill you get some free time. lol

    Something like this perhaps?

Oh yeah, that's exactly what I meant, thanks. It's cool to hear from you too. How's life, hope nothing to troubling at the moment. You seem a bit troubled though, or maybe that's just the way you're posting. Without smileys I mean... And your tone...

    Is everything all right?

Hey sol, just popping in to your life to ask a short question. How do you link to posts while still being able to see the rest of the page and not just the particular post being linked to?
