Yeah, it took me this long to decide where to go. :)
Finally, I come to a consensus: Let's go check out the progress my grunts are making in Garrison.

MadCat AI: "Checking firmware... successful. Detecting add-on's... found two new devices. Installing drivers... complete. Startup successful. Welcome to the MadCat SE, Giavlés and Seiji Konokama."

Cool! The MadCat's working 100%. Want to take it for a quick spin and test the new features?

    *5 minutes later*
Alright. Upload complete. Now I just need you to scan your DNA to power it up and complete the upgrade.

*Looks around the control panel for USB ports, spots one by the trackpad*
Found it. Good thing I've got my 10-foot USB patch cable.
*Links the terminal up to the data manager*
Alright, so the FTP client has detected a remote device, and that device appears to be the MadCat's AI. That's a good sign. Next, I'll select the firmware backup, and click "Send file." It looks like it will be done in about five minutes. Seeing how it's just a firmware update, it won't affect any previously stored data.

Using the graphical FTP client that's installed on my portable terminal, it's actually pretty easy to upload things. Is there a way I can connect my terminal to the MadCat's data management system?

    Alright...
Do you know how to upload things using the File Transfer Protocol (FTP)? If you do, then that's all you need to know when uploading the firmware upgrade into the MadCat.

Cool. Come on back out. Now it's time for some work at the terminal.

To make it easier, the duct is lighted. If you're crawling head first on your stomach, you should see a connector off to your left. Just now, I've run that cable, and you'll want to connect it to the cloak system after mounting it there.

Heh, that didn't take long... Next up, the distortion cloak. I think since you're more flexible than I am, this will be a job for you. There's a manhole near the back of the cockpit, and to install the cloaking system, you'll need to crawl into the duct underneath where I'm standing now. I'll give you an ultra-compact cordless screwdriver, and I'll tell you how far in to crawl. I can crawl in comfortably, so you should have no problems getting in.

It just so happens that I am a techie myself. With that said, we'll have it wired up in no time. :D

Alright! It's completely mounted. Now, let's head for the cockpit and wire it up.

Looks like we're almost finished mounting the turret. Thanks for the extra elbow grease. ;)

Yeah, I know that feeling all too well. I've stuck my finger in a light socket tons of times. I've even touched a half-exposed night light plug once or twice.

For a man with a case of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), I'm not afraid to get my hands filthy, either. I'm also not as sensitive to burns or electric shock as I was 20 years ago. Someone could connect my hands to a 480-volt power outlet using jumper cables, and my muscles wouldn't lock up, and the electric shock would feel about as mild as touching a 9-volt battery to your tongue. I think I can thank Arashi for part of that. :)
