Well, I'll remap anything you think needs to be remapped, but if you think it looks
okay, maybe you can keep it in your hack...

    But, it's your choice anyway.

Beta 1's out? I'll try it now then. :3

And I was thinking, can I remap that route I made for HT ,
Battlers Route, I think it was called?
Now that I look at it, it's kind of rushed, and I think my mapping
    has improved alot since then.

You're not doing anything wrong- occasionally using the higher palettes can result in this. But, if you're replacing trees and such, then I'd advise you simply replace Palette 0. Since it's already being used, it can just be edited. Somehow, those unused Palettes just screw up from time to time. All I know is, replacing an existing palette (as opposed to an empty one) never/rarely results in this.

Lol, don't worry, you'll get it. That's what I do if something doesn't work- go and do something completely different. Music is usually my escape, haha :D
Oh, right- I have actually heard of Advance Placement, now you mention the full name (not from the friends, I heard it on TV a couple times, which is why it didn't click the first time). Well, my exams, the Leaving Certificate, is a bit like that, I guess. (good to know I don't seem a waster, by the way, thanks. Not that people call me that or anything, sometimes people just hear "year out" and assume that. But.. Yeah. Thanks ).
Anyway, I have good friends who're home schooled, although for the last year they've to go to a school, to do the exam that I'll be doing soon. It would be pretty interesting to be homeschooled- albeit a bit strange. Although you'd be used to your parents teaching after a couple of years, no doubt.
Ireland's... Nothing like the Ireland portrayed on most TV shows. The drinking stereotype is non-existant (at least, Irish people really drink no more than English people would, etc.). Again, not saying you'd assume that- it's just the standard Irish explanation, lol :D. The weather is also pretty random, last summer was terrible, whereas it was pretty warm/sunny in the winter.
Anyway, Ireland is a lot more advanced than TV shows let on- ironically, the Simpsons gave an accurate portrayal, showing Ireland as Europe's technological centre. (or something similar, lol). It's... Good. I mean, we have good colleges and stuff, for a tiny country.
I was actually born in Canada, and we lived there for a time, but only until I was 4 or 5. I'd love to go to... Anywhere else in the world, just for a difference. Going back to Canada would be cool, but I'd love to visit Japan or America, or even just England. Anywhere, really.
So, what'll you be studying in college? (good luck with all your academic endeavors, btw.).

Well, not entirely sure what AP exams are (despite several American friends explaining their education system to me, it's a lot more complex than the Irish one, lol). Anyway, they're state exams, and the six best grades I get (out of 7) are transferred through a points system. Most college courses depend on the amount of points you've scored, so that's why these exams are important- to get the college course I want next year in 2011. I'm actually taking next year off, as I'd be 16 entering college while everyone else is 17 and up. Not that it's an educational barrier or anything, but they can all drive legally and stuff so I'd be pretty... I dunno, but it'd be annoying. So i'm waiting til I'm 17, then starting college. A whole year to finish Infinity, lol.
(I joke, I'll be getting a job in the mean time, lol). Anything to avoid looking like a total waster, I guess :/ Ok, I'm not, but it's hard to explain without it looking like that.

And let it remain shameless, for I really don't mind :D
Anyway, I didn't mean that in a "hopefully soon because I'm an impatient noob who wants to play things NAOW!" sense, I meant in a "hopefully there's no major rush for the next five weeks" sense, because I've exams at the end of said weeks and I won't be able to... Live, while I'm doing them. Is that ok? Five weeks seem like a lot, I know, but hopefully they'll fly by.
By the way... [sing-song-voice] I have a que-ry[/sing-song-voice]. I'll PM you, though, just something I noticed...

Well, it's no problem really, I can always just sprite more. Well, I doubt it'll be just like that, but I'm getting back into the swing of graphic spriting recently (much like your scripting burst you had a while ago, eh?:D), so it shouldn't be too hard.
Anyway, cool, I'll get on that worldmap when I've the time.
    My thoughts...
    1. You're right, it'd be realistic. But, if it complicates things, then just leave it if you want. After all, there'd be plenty to do, regardless of what team you're on- if you can think of enough stuff to do as a neutral party, then go for it. If not, then don't, obviously:D
    2. Yes.
    That's all. It's a good idea.
So, how much further do you intend the second Beta to run? Is there a particular time you plan to be done by?

Forgot to mention in my PM, I've meddled around with the different styles of World Map- Infinity's World Map in my sig as an example. Let me know if you'd prefer it in the DPPt or HGSS style when I redo the HT one ;D. But, it makes no difference to me, so if you like the FR style, I'll stick with that, too.
I've also continued my little tile-spriting project, and I'm doing the tiles of most of the cities in HGSS. Mainly paths, and occasionally houses/buildings. When I've made significant progress, I'll show you them all, you can take your pick then, if you like any. I'm really happy with the paths, if that means anything at all XD.

Damn, you didn't get my PM, did you...
Man, I haven't been able to touch my computer for ages- I didn't get to play past where I last said. I sent you a PM, but got a blank screen when it reloaded, so I guess it didn't send. Sorry dude, I've been really busy- I've got a German oral exam and a piano exam next week, and I'm desperately trying to study/practice for them along with that, I've got alot of homework, despite being on a week off.
I'm sorry, dude, I should have told you sooner. I could try tonight after I'm done with schoolwork, but.. Well, you've already waited ages, so I don't know. I really have tried, I'm sorry it's taken this long to actually hear from me.
Like I said, I'll try my best to have it tonight for you, but...
No, frick it, I'll do it right now. Email you in a few hours.
    (So sorry, dude.
Heads up, though- it's likely that, for the next two and a half months, I'll be as busy as this- if not even busier. I've got state exams at the end of June, and I really.. Well, I have to do well. Having said that, I definately wont be able to spend any time on the computer, so... During that period, I wouldn't be able to do any work for you. So if you have any plans to release a beta during the next two and a half months, then you'll need to find another tester. Sorry, bro.)
K, doing it as we speak...
For the record, I had to use an Action Replay code to give me rare candies (so incompetent, I couldn't actually make the hidden item work in-game, as you suggested...) but I put them all around level 17 when I started, so I can still see how challenging the Trainers are.
Again, deepest apologies for not having done anything in this long, (and evidently, since the PM didn't work) for taking this long to reply. Talk to you later.

Alrighty, the problem with this script is that everytime I step on it, the script replays itself.

What I know so far is Trainer Scripts, normal talking scripts, and I made a get running shoes script with applymovements, similiar to the one you made for me, but it was a bit buggy.
