Well, it's a tough profession, but it's also something that someone chooses. I don't mind the sight of gore or having to touch something dirty (if gloves are involved); however, the horrid smells are something I cannot live with. I'd grow adapted to it eventually, but it's not something I'm concerned with anymore.

Well, I guess they have somewhat of a point. Westerners find it cute that little kids would act silly and be jumpy, and grandparents from Asia would agree with this (Asian grandparents are even more lenient towards their grandkids than Westerners to their kids). By the end of my life, I want to be fluent in Vietnamese, English, Latin (written), Spanish, Japanese, and one of French/Hebrew/Italian. I may or may not be able to accomplish this, but it'll be a lifelong goal of mine.

    I was speaking in case of if I'll be kicked out. xD But yeah, I'm the only person in this house who lives with my parents. And my mom is a master cook; she'll dazzle you with her amazing Vietnamese meals, which are tasty and healthful. :3 If it weren't for her cooking, I would have died of a heart-attack by now because of the unhealthy American foods. XD And I was 5'7 when I was your age; like I said, I haven't grown ;~;

Maybe. Last year my only extra-curricular was Latin Club, and as much as I don't want this to be a repeat of last year, it's going to be. Oy, I should have skipped that Mock Trials meeting and went to the Model UN meeting instead that day. D: I go to every Mock Trials meeting. Just goes to show that dedication is no substitute for skill.

    The refreshing pages?

For much of my youth, I've spent in close contact with a university, so it's nothing strange to me. I've been toying with the idea of becoming a professor for a while now, so it's not really something that was forced on me; I think of it as something I chose to do. My dad wanted me to get an MD and do research, but I'd rather stay away from medicine altogether.

I force it on myself to be polite.

Well that's not very nice of them. They should at least realize that you're teaching your kid brother valuable things, things that they in fact taught you. And I guess that analogy is true. "J'ai deteste la Francais" as Joe would say. XD; I hope you do have luck in finding such a friend, Mist. You know I'll be doing my Latin homework every night. :3 I'm going to learn at least two more Romance languages when I grow up (if you don't know, Romance means deriving from Latin, so languages like Spanish or Italian would be Romance).
    Internet. :3

I can barely scavenge for food around the house, much less make my own food. And I live alone; that might make it an advantage as well as a disadvantage when it comes to survival. And you don't have to worry about a Christmas present for me; I don't care about that part of Christmas. As for my birthday, there are many kids born in late 1992, other parts of 1993, and that's about it. That's roughly the right time to be a grade 11. I was pretty much the youngest kid in my year in Texas and Vietnam. And are you insinuating that you could be taller, and in a way superior than I, a senior to you? D:< Nah I'm just joking.

Lucky for me, this year they're placed all in the same day. The other days are crammed with activities I don't have an iota of interest in.

    Open that page.

Truth be told, I don't mind, although I might sound bitter because of it. I would absolutely love to become a professor; the presence of a university is something I'm used to, and I just find it a joy to walk through the campus and come into the buildings that reek intellectualism. I wouldn't mind working at such a place for the rest of my life.

He hits me up every now and then.

Kids grow up so fast. XD; But hey, it's something parents do naturally. It'd be a shame if they didn't learn a lesson of parenting from you. And perhaps they knew it was bad to place too much restrictions on a kid with you? XD And yeah, it increases memory and thinking capacity, which in turn prevent Alzheimer's. And that shouldn't be too bad; ask to borrow someone's notes, maybe you'll make a friend.
    I don't mind it at all. :]

Well, I consider myself much less mature than many of the kids in my class, simply on the basis that if they were kicked out of the house, they would know what to do next. Or, if their parents ever left the house, they would know what to do to prevent themselves from dying of hunger and thirst. There is one girl who was born on Jan. 4th, 1994 who's an 11th grader, but she's the only one I know of who's younger. To be honest, I prefer it that I'm the youngest. I feel uncomfortable hanging out with younger people (in real life, of course, I don't mind you and Joe ;D). And it's fine as long as you know when it takes place. :3 And I've been 5'7 for a few years now; I don't think I'll grow anymore.

There's Chemistry Club, Book Club, and Global Outreach, but there's one problem: They all meet on Thursday at lunch, which is when Classics Club meet. @[email protected]

As I suspected, I didn't make either the Mock Trials A or B team (I was far away from the A team from the start). Eh, I can't let it get to me, though.

I know it is weird, but I like my new school because 1. More girls 2. nicer people, and 3.I live very close to the school so I don't have to walk very far

I don't know, do they have exams in 8th grade Lol

It's not necessarily that our parents pick our professions, but it used to be that we take after our parent's professions. Again, we're a Confucian society with strong conservative values. But, as Confucian morals, parents have the ultimate will over the child's future (this is an exception if the child is in government for some reason).

    I'm sure of it.

But your younger self is still yourself. xD; And that's children's way of seeing things. They can't necessarily put themselves in other's shoes at that point without proper guidance. For them to be rude and selfish on purpose, however, is truly to be shunned. And that's the stress with being an older sibling; you're somewhat an experiment with successes being carried over to the next child...okay, maybe that's a little harsh, haha. And speaking a second language is a wonderful thing. It helps builds memory power and prevents Alzheimer's.
    That's how ordinary conversation goes.

    Of course I do. ^_^ I'm very happy to hear that, Mist. :D I was always considered to be "the little one" wherever I go, whether in size, age, or in maturity. As a junior, I'm one of the few who has yet to turn 16 (I will be on the 30th this month). I don't do much besides go to school and go home, so my life experience has been minimal. And I haven't grown an inch in years ;;

Awesome job, Mist! (b'')b I'm confident that your Science exams will be to your surprise once you find out the actual score. I'm still skeptical about my performances, though, and what tomorrow will bring....

    Seeya tomorrow, Mist~

List of those who rejected the idea of personally wife-ing 22sa:
-Kayleigh (indirect): I too stupid for her
-piece of something (direct): "Hell no!"
-Sheena--Fujibayashi (semi-direct): "It doesn't work that way!" (wut)
    -Jordan (direct): Hates me. (wut)
-Misty4Life (direct): "It's not you, it's me." (wut)

    Ohnu, don't leave me alooooooooneeee~

o_o I wonder who I'll ask next. Anyway, would you still say I need a wife?

So the men back then slept with many and it wasn't adultery, but the same didn't go for women? @@; Puzzling ... I wonder why. Did women tend not value exclusive rights to their husband's body as much or something. That's a peculiar difference between the sexes.

I just meant I can't count on my parents as an example of a good marriage or good parenting. At least, so far I can't. He got remarried recently. I have a lot left to understand... but I believe I can.

Cosplaying's embarrassing, but not at anime conventions where everybody understands. I actually feel a little embarrassed not cosplaying so I don't go to them anymore haha.

5 are allowed per category, but I find MOTM best looking when only one person is voted per category. Anyway.

On other people. Well, on girls. I just leave my hair be too. Oh, how long's your hair? <3

Haha, thanks. Crybaby? I might've picked Yaya's Shugo Chara Pepe if there wasn't Eru. :x Nah.

So 1st for girls huh? Fit girl, well done, sexy win. How did those jerks earn their reputation as jerks for you? Awww. How about skating?

    All right, never mind.
