I heard Rome was pretty good. I sometimes forget about HBO and those other exclusive channels. They're a step up from regular TV, but only because people are willing to pay for shows that are a little more raunchy than the regular fare I think.

It's got a great formula. It's the show that can go on forever. I was always a little disappointed growing up that there were only so many reruns of Star Trek I could watch. It seemed like they only played the same 10 episodes over and over.

Well, conceptually, (and in chemistry's language), the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle states that you can not know the speed/velocity AND the exact position of a particle at the same time; it's one or the other (mathematically it's a bit more complicated, but that's what you learn in an intro course).

And I've never read Sheridan le Fanu. What does she write? I'm a horror fan, personally. Ever read James' The Turn of the Screw? That was one of the eerier stories I've read. However, Jackson's The Haunting of Hill House is still the only book to ever scare me out of sleep. And I loved it! haha

Yeah, about the Heisenberg uncertainty principle (how probability can not be less than h-bar/2, or something like that). I'm a chemist, so I leave the physics people to their game.

And a lit major? Ever read anything by Richard Matheson? He's probably my all time favorite author. He's, IMO, in the league of Lovecraft and Poe.

Nope, we're in the box... when Schrodinger comes back, we're let out. ;)
However, I guess we won't know until the box is opened! It's probably somewhere 'round h-bar/2, though. haha

I do believe you're right, but me and the entire Chemistry and Physics departments at my school have come to the conclusion that while we may openly poke fun at the Business/Management majors, chances are we'll work for 'em someday. XD

However, when Schrodinger comes back, all us science geeks will be raptured anyway. haha

Those old managers must have come to America because (for the most part) we still haven't got good television here. You'd think that eventually by accident it would happen, but no.

But really, I read that it was a pretty low budget show. Like the spare change you find in the couch low budget. It's amazing it lasted.

    Heck no :o

It's a top-end flash cart for the Nintendo DS / DSi and it lets you play GBA games through the power of having extra hardware including it's own processor. It also allows you to watch movies without any special formats and stuff. =3

...o.O Holy crud you ate Robson Green! D||!!!

My DSi iPlayer came in the mail today. I thought it never would. It's been weeks! Then I looked at the package and it was in...chinese. I was like "That explains a lot."

I just imagined what a Mac and a PCs child might look like.

I know right? This would apply so much more if we were an old married couple though. xD

...Though if we were, I don't think we'd be having kids now would we? xD

Anyway, how are you doing? I'm just laying around posting and stuffzor.

Alright. <=3 Installs tend to be the major thing that triggers it. Just remember that if UAC appears and it's by a program you don't think should be doing anything / a program you have no idea, say NO D= Basically UAC is good for when you're dealing with programs you don't trust/don't know.

*Squished and hugs again* <=3 You're welcome. It's so much nicer to hug and share a few laughs than be all sour, am I right?

Oh... it's okay! *She reachs out and embraces you in a niiiice warm hug* There we go! All better! ^.^ UAC was tweaked in Windows 7 to make it less strict by default. Basically UAC pops up whenever a program does something that requires admin mode, which was something XP always ran in. That's why XP is a bit insecure in comparison. Basically, if you're downloading open source / free shiz and it's not from a particularly trustworthy site or one you don't know of or it looks seedy etc, but UAC doesn't pop up, that's a good sign it's safe.

Essentially any software can be programmed around UAC to make it so that it doesn't pop up. Chrome doesn't trigger UAC, and I believe Firefox has started working on that too.

But yeah, I understand how you feel. It's nothing personal, hun. Lots of love, and stuff~<3 x3

    Hey
It has been a long time. I'm doing okay; trying to weather the final 4 and a half hours of my school year before doing heavy-duty training for the Pokémon Regional championship.

How's life on your side of the pond?

And I always though fan fiction started with Star Trek.

They wouldn't be so bad to watch if they'd known about pacing and tried to incorporate it into the episodes. That's what kills it for me.

Yes, but I've seen almost nothing of the older series. Just some of the very first episodes, which are awful, but a fun kind of awful.

fdsf'sdf;gfgdl. If I get one more e-mail from places I've applied to telling me that the "current government budget no longer extends to this position", I'ma cry. DAVID CAMERON. YOU HAVE A JOB. STOP TAKING FROM OTHERS. Surely he realises that less people employed = less disposable income = less people spending = people getting fired because there's no money = less people employed = less people spending = FOR GODS' SAKE WE LEARNT THIS IN GCSE. IT'S CALLED THE CYCLE OF DEPRESSION. IT HAPPENED....
