    It would be logical to give it a starring role, and France does seem very fairy-like. ;3

    Good. d:

    I kind of want to have Teddiursa, Pancham and Cubchoo on my team. A versatile little bear team. ;D And . . . you make an interesting point. I'll keep that in mind, perhaps for Munchlax too, lol.
    Fitting 649 + however many are in Gen VI pokemon into one roleplay could be difficult, lol. Perhaps I won't have them all, or in some places I'll give the roleplayers a little leeway, or just have them make little requests in the OOC and I'll add them in when I see fit.

    Right after Kentrik, yes. d:

    I'm glad to hear you miss it, lol. I quite honestly thought it bombed. Well, not the roleplayers, my GMing skills with it.

    Yeah, go with that! d:

    Same here, lol. If they do add new types, I would hope they would be showcased. Dark got showcased in Gen II's Elite 4, and Jasmine's Steel-typed gym was fairly late in the game as well.

    Pokemon Tower Defense 2. It's a fun game. You should look it up, lol.

    I love Teddiursa myself, so I can't argue with you there. d: And, um . . . *peeks back at the map* sure, why not? All of the roleplayers will be heading there for Arena Medal numero uno, at the very least.

    I do when I'm at my mom's, but I don't really like staying here all that often over the summer, lol. So long as you're willing to wait! //youhavenochoice

    I don't think it should look oddly man-made for a Psychic-type island . . . perhaps just odd, lol.

    One in each gen, huh? Yeah, now that I think about it, lol. Johto itself doesn't have one, but there's still Cerulean in Johto games, huh? Well then. Plus, gen III had water as the final gym. . . . Now I'm even more disappointed in Marlon. >.>;

    Well, I like Jolteon anyways, lol. The main reason I checked its moveset was because I was playing Pokemon Tower Defense 2. d;

    That's an interesting team, to say the least. Hmm. . . . But, if you do go for Yanmega, you can probably get Yanma fairly early on, considering I wanted everyone to go to Drymos Island first.

    Well, more information will continue to filter in, and if I don't have a computer this summer then I may have to wait until September regardless. :C

    . . . not really. ._.; Nothing that you can draw on the map, at least. I forgot what that island's Guardian is, and I haven't made the altars yet . . . um . . . //talking about things you don't yet know about

    Pfft

    Yeah, but there's always rematches, I suppose? I dunno, lol. It's disappointing that she's so early and Marlon is so late.

    I guess so. I mainly noticed when I looked at Jolteon's moves and realized he learns half of them twenty levels earlier in BW2 than in BW, and Onix's moveset is completely switched around, lol.

    Yes, but he's a rock snake. No more reason to do so than Magmar. d:

    And what might that be? d;
    I've been debating holding the roleplay off until Gen VI is officially out, letting us utilize those pokemon as well.

    WELL THANKS FOR THAT! xD

    I want to be able to see Roxie. ;w; I've never played the games, but I managed to fall in love with Roxie when I still knew her as Homika, lol.
    I've also noticed that level-up moves got overhauled between BW and BW2.

    I suppose that would make sense, lol, and it's not that odd considering pokemon like Onix can learn Dragonbreath. d:

    Well, sorry for that! It was two years ago and I was a noob then, after all. xD

    I haven't even gotten my starter in Black 2 or White 2 yet, because I don't own them! D:

    Well okaaaay then, that's certainly interesting, lol.
    He should have a special dragon-slaying ability, then. xD

    I think the only reason I hadn't specified before was because it was so linear. I described all of the islands in order, and the path drawn between the islands made the order of the islands clear, lol. d:

    That's good~

    Ratchet & Clank is a great game series. Go play it, Naow. . . . Since when is Magmar a duck? ._.;

    That would work, lol.

    Well, it certainly sounds like you're making progress. d:

    Of course they do. Especially the one from Ratchet & Clank. My sister and I named that one "Zarduck" when we were little. Oh, the memories~ The only difference was that that one was literally a duck that was on fire, like a pheonix-duck thing. xD

    Yeah, stand-out islands like the ground-type were easier to identify, lol. I'll get a hold of it soon enough! xD

    Well that sounds like fun, lol. Add a few Magmar in there and we have something going~ d:

    I never watched it until my niece decided to play the first episode on Netflix, and then we watched a few more and I started to fall in love with it. :3 You should try it sometime. :x

    Oh, it took me a moment, but I think I understand what you meant now. You were speaking of the islands you drew, lol. I was still having trouble matching up the types with the islands you made, other than Drymos, lol. d: In that case, that's exactly how it should be! xD

    Well, it sounds kind of cool when I think of it. That's probably what I was thinking the first time around, too. Regardless, whether the Arena is inside the volcano or not, there should still be a volcano. d;

    I just started watching it last weekend and I already finished the first three seasons, which is 66 episodes. ._.; It's a surprisingly good show, and they make even bad music sound good. Not to mention it's the one show I've seen with gay couples at the center of attention. They've had at least seven gay characters of some significance, Kurt and Blaine especially, and then a few more scattered here and there. They also have a lesbian and a bisexual girl, and a very convincing male-to-female transgender. The show may have some odd cliches at some points and seem a bit awkward at others, and the amount of talent in these schools is incredibly unrealistic, but other than that it's really good and surprisingly realistic in all areas except stacked talent. xD
    I've never seen a more adorable couple than Kurt and Blaine. :3

    Nah, I wanted to have Kentrik be typeless. It keeps it neutral territory, makes it so that there's not both an Arena and the Grande Arena, and I have a few story plot points that require the islands to be separate. That's why I added it to the reboot. d:

    Oh, was it? I may or may not remember making it that way. xD If that's how it is, then that's how it is! x3

    Pfft, well it's Kurt and Blaine, probably the most adorable couple I've ever seen. Worth getting banned over! Plus, it's a scene from Glee, so I doubt it would be considered "too sexual." xD

    One of them, yes. Kentrik's still probably going to be the largest. d:

    Did I have one before? Well, yeah, lol, sure. Why not? ;3

    Also, I just checked out the sig rules again. You don't think this is too "sexual" for a signature, do you? xD

    Mmm. I'm not sure if I like the idea of it being completely industrialized. After all, the archipelago was only discovered recently. Here's the story:
    Spoiler:

    ★Plot

    Background:
    Far away from civilization, basking in isolation in the middle of the Atlantic, sits an archipelago of eighteen islands. Long untouched by the scourges brought by mankind, these islands remained untarnished paradises for centuries. It wasn't until thirty-five years ago that these islands were discovered. At first they simply remained a point of study, scientists and archaeologists seeking to unveil the secrets hidden beneath the waves of these lost islands. Within five years of their discovery, people began to migrate to the archipelago. As of yet. no singular country had laid claim upon the islands. So, taking advantage of the opportunity, the International Pokémon League Confederation, or IPLC, moved in. Thanks to this, the newly dubbed "Lost Islands" became a neutral territory, welcoming all and refusing no one.

    For the next five years, the IPLC encouraged the inhabitation of the islands, drawing in an influx of immigrants from across the globe. By 1995, the islands had grown immensely, boasting a total population of nearly six million individuals. At this time, the IPLC unveiled their new gem: The Lost Tournament.

    The Lost Tournament was to be a grande competition, welcoming trainers from all across the planet. It was to be an entire league consisting of seventeen Arenas, each featuring a different pokémon type and its own unique Arena Medal. The tournament would host five hundred elite trainers that would be handpicked by tournament officials. Of course, they still had to pass the preliminary tests. Lastly, this tournament was to be held every five years.

    Present Day:
    The year is 2020 and preparations for the sixth Lost Tournament are coming to a close. Five hundred trainers have been picked and have passed the preliminary testing and are finally making their ways to the legendary Lost Islands. Bags are being packed, pokémon are being prepared, and the inhabitants of the Lost Islands are getting geared up to welcome a fresh batch of trainers.

    Even the islands are not without their flaws, however. Anything can go wrong just as easily as in any other location. There's also the fact that there's been a recent rise in attacks and robberies all across the islands. People and pokémon have even turned up missing, and no one has yet been able to identify the culprits. It is assumed that the attacks are linked, although no solid evidence has been reported to prove this to be true. It is known, however, that the culprits are dangerous, organized, and cunning enough to get away with it all unnoticed.

    As well as the disasters caused by man, there has also been an interesting increase in natural phenomena around the islands. Pokémon have become more agitated, defending their territories more vigorously and attacking people more often. Certain species have also shown abnormal behaviors throughout the archipelago, baffling the scientists and pokémon professors.

    Citizens have also noticed that the various shrines of the archipelago, which predate any known human existence on the islands, appear to have been disturbed. No one is sure what to make of it, but it is possible that these disturbances are what have created the upset among the pokémon. Some of the more superstitious inhabitants have taken it as a sign to cancel the tournament and keep outsiders at bay.

    Crazy, right? Well, the festivities must go on!

    You're welcome. :3

    Will do~

    Well, it makes sense, but unless it's some sort of giant oil rig, I think that there should be some amount of land, lol. It was one of the larger islands on my map, because that would give it the capacity to house all of the technology and people.

    Okay, here they be:
    Spoiler:

    Spoiler:
    This is the Electric-Type Island

    Mythos [mee-thohs]
    Spoiler:
    This is the Dragon-Type Island

    Took that directly from the OP of the roleplay, so it seems out of place in a VM, lol.

    Mmm, that's the main landmark I have in mind. I never actually got around to describing each of the islands in full detail.

    That gives it an interesting twist. One thing I know about the steel-type island is that it had some major, hi-tech ports.

About Me

  • About Grif of Hearts
    Biography
    First and formost, I returned to Pokecommunity recently. Why did I leave, you might ask? Technical issues. They were difficult to explain, but left me only able to access this website for half an hour or so each week, which made keeping up with things very difficult. But now, I have returned, and vow to make more of an effort to help the forum thrive.
    Interests
    As guessed, Pokemon would certainly fall into that category. I'm a technophile at heart, specifically in the gaming or film category, but I also see myself as something of an novice writer, which is what keeps dragging me over the roleplaying section of this forum.
    Location
    System 32
    Occupation
    The Grif of Hearts. Isn't it obvious?
    Nature
