I've made RPs, before, but I'm not really sure what you're talking about. I'm not the kinda guy to consult about this. If that's going on, you should probably contact the RP Corner mod, Skymin, or make a thread in the Questions and Feedback place.

There are many factors which I explore before joining an RP. Most of the time it's Plot, story, and the way the RP works, since some RPs can have complicated methods of RPing. For example, even though it's not too complicated, I do tend to stay away from RPs which involve levels, since the process of levelling up can be quite complicated, plus it would mean that the entire RP depends greatly upon the GM for raising levels and such. Some RPs can get even more complicated, so I'll only join one of those if it has a really interesting storyline. In terms of story and plot, it usually isn't something involving trainers, just because that isn't really my kind of thing. I prefer all-Pokemon RPs such as Mystery Dungeon, because there's so much variety you can choose from for your character. I mean, you're a magical creature. Awesome.

While these are the most important factors I take into consideration when looking at an RP, I usually also spare a glance at the GM, and ask myself questions such as "Are they new to RPing or experienced." Or, "Did they write the initial post of the RP in quality." These questions can shed light on both the GM themselves and their RP; often, I find the quality of an RP is very dependant on the skill of the GM.

If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask.

About Me

  • About jov0006
Hello, you may call me jov, as I will not disclose my real name (for fairly obvious reasons).

If you would like contact me, please send me a PM or a VM or PM me here: if you own an account.

Without further ado, "Left is always Right!" he said, "Or... in Gaius Plinius' words: Fortune favours the bold! But I prefer my own 'Bravery leads to Legacy,' if you don't mind me."
Hmm... well I do know that I like to play games (despite my gradual decrease in the amount I game in recent months) and I like to write things such fanfictions, poetry (as well as memorising it), fiction and drawing maps. I love to draw maps.

"Blah, blah, blah," he groaned, "all you do is make characters like us, then overuse us, not like Pokemon though, and then try to cram more characters into our universe until you've created an overload of us! And even then, you try to make a new universe but you come back to our universe and create more characters! Why? WHY? WWHHHHYYYY?????" He threw his tea in anger at me, burning my face severly.

As you can see, I like Pokemon (quite a bit), but I do play other games as well such as a certain game with a certain word that is shouted across rooms. I also play Luigi's Mansion 2 (even though I've only finished the first mission) and Fire Emblem: Awakening (which, unlike LM2, I am in my second run-through). However, I occasionally play Minecraft, the Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, rarely Halo 1/2, sometimes Super Smash Bros Brawl (very rarely the original), I may start re-play Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (as I have gotten bored of Ocarina of Time after re-playing it three times). I am currently re-playing Pokemon: Conquest, but am training my guys up a lot, as I do not want to use passwords.

"I think this much infomation about you is enough, don't YOU think?" The man in the tuxedo poured himself another cup of tea, and sat down at his red-and-white-checkered-clothed table.
    Favorite Pokémon
All Flying-types, even the Incarnate-formes. I like Staraptor, Skarmory and Archen in particular though. I like many of the starter Pokemon, and the Energy trio as well as most of the legends with 100 base stats
