    I was actually thinking of doing it Feb 7th. That's two months after the final ep thread went up and I think anyone wanting to talk about BW after that would be wanting to comment on it as a whole ( as they do in other threads now). I kind of wanted to do it earlier but... idk. A month seems too short.

    I work as a software developer; I'm responsible for designing and implementing new features and bug fixing. We're currently working on a web platform for programmers, that is meant to facilitate collaboration on code and modeling diagrams, plus offer a 2-way synchronization between code and model. The back end is a Java server, and the front end is a web application written in ActionScript and JavaScript. I work mostly server-side and server-client communication, but I'll take on client side tasks as well, as long as I don't have to do any UI design.

    I've been working for the same company since 2011; I was still in college, and fed up with our fossil professors teaching off 1977 books, so I decided to put myself out there and see what I was in for after I got my degree. I started with unit testing and fixing minor bugs while getting comfortable with working on a large-scale project. I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but from my own experience and others' too, employers are very patient in the beginning: training, pair programming, comprehensive core reviews. We offered an internship last summer, and I can say that it is very important that your project manager sees you're interested in learning more and getting better, that's how they know that the training will pay off in the end and that you're worth keeping in the company. And well, you'll work in a team, so you'll need to take your colleagues' opinions into consideration, be ready to assist them and work fast, especially if you're working on a feature that needs to be done before they can start on their own tasks.

    Sorry if this was too much to read or uninteresting, this is the first time someone has asked me about this, I think. What was it that made you study computer science in the first place?

    Yeah, they actually dropped the program a year or two after I finished high-school for the same reason. I never got to go abroad since then either, but I figured I should at least travel to places in Romania; we actually have some beautiful cities and traditional villages if you have a weekend to spare.

    I think that the actual pasta can make or break the dish, to be honest. I found a brand that I love a while back, and I've been using it ever since. I always keep a couple of packages in the cupboard, and if I ever run out of ideas on what to cook for dinner, I'll just toss some noodles with butter, a bit of lemon juice and whatever greens I happen to have (and the occasion chicken ;)) and it's really yummy.

    Sounds fun! I'm not an athletic person at all, I guess the only thing that I do for exercising - if you can call it exercising - is walking to and back from work, so about an hour per day of walking?

    Actually, I was lucky the school offered discounts on summer trips to students that did well in national olympiads, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to afford it, and even so it was a bit of a stretch for my parents, so I just tried to make the best of it and enjoy it to the fullest. The teachers on the other hand were all about baking under the sun and soaking in the sea, so they said pass to Athens. Such a shame :(

    We actually had pasta every evening for dinner at the hotel's restaurant, they served it before the main course. They went with "less is more", so the sauce was really simple, no meat and just a sprinkle of grated cheese, but you cannot imagine how good it was, I honestly think that it was more delicious than the even the most complex recipes.

    I can't swim and I also don't like being the sun for a long time, so I never go to pools and such, but I like going to the beach, for the sea and the breeze, so I try to travel every summer to the seaside in my country - I live in Romania BTW. It doesn't come close to Greek beaches though, and yeah, you can't even try to compare it to Hawaii. I do have a cellphone charm from Hawaii, haha. My friend from high-school went on a trip with her family, and she gave it to me as a souvenir - it's has a white hibiscus flower and a monkey with a surfboard {XD}

    Since you said you like beaches, do you do any water sports?

    I take it you live in the US, then? I'm in Southeastern Europe.

    Actually, I've visited both Italy and Greece back when I was in high-school. You're definitely in for a treat, they are beautiful countries, with rich history and amazing sights. We did a tour of Italy, I loved Rome and Florence the most; we stayed in Platamon when in Greece, and did a one-day trip to the Meteora complex - it simply takes your breath away, both literally and figuratively. I was terribly heartbroken that I wasn't allowed to go to Athens though, because I was still underage and none of the teachers wanted to accompany us...

    And if you like beaches, both Italy and Greece have amazing resorts, the water and sand are lovely. Plus, the people are very warm, and boy, can they cook! Nobody can cook pasta like the Italians, and the seafood is the best in Greece.

    The architecture and the many sights; I'm no expert in these kind of things, but I just love the atmosphere and the feeling that beautiful buildings old give off, it feels like you're being transported to a place where time stands still. I've first become interested in Prague when I saw a picture of the Astronomical Clock back when I was in high-school, so it's been 6, 7 years since then. Maybe I'll actually get to visit there this year now that I have a stable job...

    How about you, are you interested in traveling? Well, outside the Poke-world, that is {XD}

    Same here, Golurk is amazing; I've noticed that many people go on about how he isn't a Steel-type, because they aren't aware that Golurk is actually based on golems, specifically the golem of Prague -- I personally have a long-time fascination for Prague, but that's another story.

    Yeah, I never really cared about people hating on poor Vanillite, I don't get why they feel the need to complain so much about it or Trubbish or any other Pokemon. If it's in the 'dex, it's a Pokemon; and Vanillite is adorable too ^_^

    Also, Vanillite is actually one of the few Pokemon that were designed by a Westerner the more you know
