I mean, its cheap labor. supply and demand, ya know?

I was just kidding. I was trying to make fun of myself by calling myself a loser. I meant nerd, whatever. xD

Dang! the hospital?! At least you are improving. I hope you get better!

The one thing I like about Bernie is that he is truthful and is actually legitimate, unlike Hillary. However, I disagree on most things with him.

Privatization isn't meant for government to get money. Am I misunderstanding what you are saying? What is this about economic collapse? Of course this would occur if you abolished government in a day. It would be actually anarchy- as in violence.

The government doesnt need money if it wont exist lol. Im an anarchist haha! The strategy for Voluntaryism is actually peace, activism, localization, and agorism. Localization is slowly restoring power to local communities until everything is privatized. VERY slowly. People need time to adjust, and if suddenly police went away, crime would increase. You get the idea.

Liberty isn't about abolishing government or privatization. it is about creating a voluntary society free of violence and coercion (of course that isn't possible, which is why there would be a demand for security firms). I have no problem if people want to set up governments or communes- as long as they dont force people to join. And the current government is a gang of people using violence and coercion to get tax dollars. Its decided. Im writing my next essay on why taxation is theft, and how democracy does not justify it. xD

So you enjoy forcing kids to defend your property that gets attacked fairly often. With deadly weapons and giant robots? :p

Are you ok? Were you able to rest?

Tbh, Im not that good at debating lol. Im getting better, but I tend to forget a fact that would literally win an argument haha. Hindsight is 20/20 I guess haha. However, Im going to start writing essays on topics that I find debating about more often so I have something to look to and stuff. Most of what I argue is logic, so it shouldn't be that bad tbh. I'm such a loser...

Also trump doesnt seem to be doing as well lately, so that is some good news. I hope he splits from the Republican party so the Libertarian party can get 5%. Unfortunately, then Hillary would win, but its not like she is all that different from the Republicans, who are getting more economically left anyways. We will still have the perpetual wars on drugs and terror, increased taxation, inflation, and many other issues plaguing the US. When the economy crashes and burns after more years, it will open the stage for the Libertarians, who are starting to gain more traction (we are holding our first debate on Fox and just won a lawsuit to have ballot access). In addition, it will lead to the rise of agorism, which is one of the ways we can establish a voluntary society peacefully! *evil laughs*

I realize you're using these terms hyperbolically and are defending the LGBTQIA community, but can you please not refer to gay people as "homos" or "the gays"? It makes it harder to have a serious conversation. Thanks! :)

I have had a little bit of free time finally. I was able to catch up on Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, and its such a touching story. I get the feels even though it isn't that sad, but its more like the main character's situation is sad, and the things that happen to them (no spoilers). It deals with child slavery, themes of ignorance, innocence, etc.

Its about a bunch of child laborers (some slaves, some just exploited) that are forced to work for a private security company years in the future. They revolt after being used by the company to be left for dead in a battle, and form their own company. Their mission is to protect Kudelia, who is the face of a Martian revolution (Mars is fighting for independence), and they must deliver her to earth safely so she can negotiate. There is a ton of good action and sweet scenes, and its sort of tragic and political, and great all around. The only negative so far is that it is a bit slow, but its not terrible.

I also watched the first 7 minutes of Tokyo Ghoul after reading over half the manga (like 3 chapters a morning on the way to school and while eating breakfast- my only "free time"). Sometimes at school too during lunch break if I'm not doing more work. Anyways, the story is pretty good, but I didnt realize the anime would be so.... beautiful! Its so artsy its ridiculous; the art is the best I have ever seen so far! The colors are so vibrant and stuff. Maybe I'm judging too early haha.

    How have you been?

I also got into a debate with a friend and it ended with me being called a "dickhead," or "know-it-all," which I do not really understand. The debate became more philosophical/theoretical, and I only defended my principles and revealed the holes in his. I could understand if this was more of a "utilitarian" debate with facts and such because I could "know all" of the facts, but even then its nothing but an ad-hominem attack haha. Maybe it makes sense because I "know it all" about my principles/philosophy, but that would only make sense. Im probably overanalyzing this lol (everyone I know says that about me). I tend to overthink things, which I think is more good than bad tbh- except on tests.

    Quick Self-Introduction
I'm gimmepie. My actual name is Daniel but I generally don't use that much around the forums. Feel free to leave a VM.
    Biography
I've been around PC for a few years now and honestly I love it here. PC's grown to be oddly special to me over my years of using it an escape from real life and I've met a lot of great people and wonderful friends here. On PC you can typically find me in the Roleplay Theatre, Daily, Round Table, PC's Dubtrack room or The Underground. I often pop up in the Treehouse, Forum Games, Battling and Team building, the Lab or on our battle server too though. Basically I'm all over the place.

Outside of PC I'm a competitive ballroom dancer and enjoy spending my time social dancing, training or teaching at the studio I attend. I'm also studying to achieve my Bachelor Degree of Education (Primary) and a Diploma of School Aged Education and Care whilst attempting to become a freelance writer. If there's anything else you want to know feel free to ask!

PC Supporter since 2014 (Currently Crystal Tier)
Moderator of the Roleplay Theatre since June 2015
Moderator of the Round Table since September 2015
Moderator of the Underground since January 2016
    Daily Staff since April 2016

Most RPs GM'd at once: Six (I'm pretty sure that's a record but I dunno).
    Interests
My interests are pretty varied and they keep me sane when I'm supposed to be studying.

As I said before I teach at my local ballroom studio, I also train there myself as I am also a competitor. Dancing is one of the most important parts of my life.

I also love music, a very wide range of it too. I listen to everything from Rock to rap to country. My favourite band is Linkin Park but there are many other artists I love (far too many to list here so VM me if you're curious).

Pokemon has been a part of my life since I was about six. My first game was Pokemon Stadium for the N64 and I watched the anime religiously. These days I'm still in love with the franchise and I buy the main series games whenever they come out. I also sometimes battle on PCs Showdown server. These days I'm not as fond of the anime, but I haven't seen X/Y yet so I don't know.

I am a big lover of improvisational and stand-up comedy. I am arguably the biggest fan of Whose Line Is It Anyway in my country and I spend hours watching it and stand-up shows. I often consider giving stand-up a shot, but I struggle to be funny on cue and I don't have a very good stage presence.

I'm not much of a gamer, but I do enjoy a bit of gaming sometimes. My favourite game is The Last of Us but Starcraft 2 is a close second.

I am an anime lover and, unlike Western shows with which I am very picky about genre, I will watch almost any genre. My favourite anime of all time is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.

Review Aloo - Sun & Moon

Welcome readers to my first attempt at a game review. I'm not much of a gamer myself in all honesty, but I've been playing the Pokemon Games for a long time now and I feel like it'd be remiss of me not to do this particular review. If this goes well, there might be more game reviews in the future. I'll try to refrain from giving too many spoilers, but read at your own risk. Onwards!

Plot

Review Aloo - WataMote

WataMote is a 2013 comedy and slice of life anime following the every day activities of Tomoko Kuroki who suffers from extremely severe social anxiety and lives her life as a shut-in, although she's desperate to change. I have been skipping this anime over for several years now every time I've come across it, but thanks to the nagging of TheRealOCD I have finally sat down and watched it. Let's see how it went.

Review Aloo - Rewrite

Rewrite is a recent anime generally classed as a part of the action and fantasy genres and is based on a visual novel by Key. The anime follows a group of central characters who are caught up in paranormal events and has a strong focus on the relationships between the characters.

Plot
The premise of Rewrite isn't exactly revolutionary, but is certainly something I can get behind. At the beginning of the anime we

Review Aloo - Wandering Son

Welcome readers to what is apparently the first anime review in the Aloo series. I could have sworn I already reviewed Charlotte before but apparently not.

Anyway, I'm going to be completely honest here - at first I was not going to review this anime. It deals with issues that I have never experienced, never will experience, that I'm woefully under-educated about and that I am in no way qualified to comment on among other more familiar themes.

How We did

This was an interesting Olympics for a lot of nations and Australia is no exception to this. We didn't end up up doing as well in the medals department as we did back in London's 2012 Olympics but in many ways it felt like a greater success. By the same token however, we also had many enormous let downs.

The swimming events tend to be among Australia's strongest events, and in this Olympics we saw some great achievements. Our women's 4x100 Freestyle team
