There you go. :)

And I know what you mean. My story ended up so overloaded with characters, the hard part was giving them something to do, haha. But I was never one for storytelling. I'd rather tell a story through a singular image with my art, than write about an event and describe the character's actions/reactions.

I could imagine thatt being sort of difficult, yeah. I'm not a writer or anything, but could still relate it with other stuff. Are you planning to work on anything else after this?

Alexial was a name I always used with Pokemon games, and one that followed me when I enter the world of graphic novels. She's fictional character of mine, back when I was working on my manga. I wrote.. god, so much material, and really developed her character quite a bit, if not the most out of my others. I never moved forward with it, but the name stuck with me. It teeters on the balance of being somewhat angelic sounding, but yet a touch on the tomboyish side too.

I'm proud of you. I'll fix up your sig no problems. :)

I don't know if they'll make any modifications, but I wouldn't put some refining of the older stuff beyond them.

Yeah, abilities changed up the gameplay drastically between Gens II and III.

Ooh, okay. What was the inspiration behind him? :3

It's all right, don't worry about it! I've skimmed through couple of its chapters before, and it looked pretty great compared to some other stuff I've read.

Yeah, that's it exactly. It's the same reason why they didn't introduce abilities until Gen III because the tech hadn't advanced enough to provide enough memory for them to make the games that complex.

Well, through Gen III, you needed to memorize the type match-ups beyond what type affected what. Attack and Special Attacks were based strictly on type. For instance, Normal, Fighting, and Steel were Physical attack types, while Fire, Electric, and Dragon were Special attack types. The changeover helped a lot because you didn't have to memorize little stuff like that, and it made it easier to choose moves according to what your Pokémon were good with.

Isn't it one of your story characters? Always wanted to start reading it, but I just never seem to actually manage. Haha.

Well consider this: Gen IV introduced the categorization of Pokémon moves into Physical, Special, and Status. That alone affected how certain Pokémon could attack (for instance, Sceptile's Leaf Blade became worthless since it has a naturally high Special Attack stat and Blaziken's Attack become overwhelmingly powerful now that its signature Blaze Kick was a Physical attack move, not to mention it could utilize Flare Blitz and High Jump Kick post-Gen III). Abilities also got changed. Static became more limited since it only affects Pokémon that attack with direct Physical attacks, as with Flame Body. Certain moves may or may not affect better Pokémon depending on what category they fell into, not just based on the type matchups (a Steel-type Pokémon with heightened defense could now survive Physical Fire attacks, while Special Fire attacks would devastate them and vice-versa).

That was the entire point. Introduce an entire new audience to old school Pokémon. However, the old fans were pretty anal about things... I hate all the negativity, especially when the original games weren't really that over the top to begin with. Gen IV was actually pretty simplified too, but introduced a lot of new battle mechanics that overcomplicated the metagame.

I know. I'm not saying they were a waste, but Pokémon is one of those series that got better with time. I tried Yellow some time after beating Silver and absolutely hated it. I finished the game, but put it away and haven't played it since. I'm just glad that I knew the newer games actually were better because I would never have kept up with the series had I started in Gen I.

Now that I'm officially in my post-good movie high, let's get started.

In case you don't know what Zootopia is about, and you can't watch the trailer, let me give a brief preview. All of the characters in this movie are anthropomorphic animals, meaning they can walk, talk, and do everything a human can do. So yeah, basically every disney movie, but that's besides the point. Zootopia is this big city where all of the animals...

Man, it's been a while since I've done a movie review, far too long. So, when my roommates invited me to go see The Boy with them, of course I tagged along.

The Boy is directed by William Brent Bell and stars Lauren Cohan in the main role. In case you haven't seen the trailer, a nanny, Greta, is called to this old english house so that she can watch over the old couple's son while they take a vacation. The main plot conflict...

M. Night Shyamalan brings us yet another horror flick, but this one is a little different.

I must admit, when I saw the trailer for this film I wasn't expecting much. Here comes yet another found footage horror film to throw into the pile, lost and forgotten with all of the other cheaply made films studios pump out for a quick buck. At least, that's what I thought until I did some more digging. M. Night Shyamalan actually...

This movie is gory, doesn't make sense, over the top, and mindless action. So why did I enjoy it?

I must say, I was really surprised by American Ultra. I went in expecting mindless action with really cheap comedy, and that's actually exactly what I got. But don't worry, there's a lot more to it. The very things I went in to see took a backseat to a story with a surprising amount of heart and characters that weren't drones...

If you thought the first Sinister was messed up, hold on to your sanity, because you haven't seen anything yet.

WARNING: GRAPHIC SCENES AND VIOLENCE:

For the record, I thought the first movie was decent. It at least tried to break from the traditional hollywood jumpscare routine by giving us interesting-ish characters and a plot that wasn't bad. This movie is pretty much the same, only it cranks up the demonic...
