if you want some "safe" mons to start with, defensive volt switch Rotom-W and sp. def. Jirachi are a solid core. They have issues with some key mons but the para/burn will screw up a lot of stuff.

best advice (though you probably know this by now): dragonite is evil and must be prepared for

first VM since 2009! I didn't know you were still should come back to old S&M (its population of vance has significantly declined...), at least just to catch up!

And yes, I most certainly do. Would you like me to PM them to you?

True dat. If I had a goal, I'd chase it :P But I don't so the plan is to find something I tolerate so I can do stuff I enjoy out of work. Music wouldn't be an easy career choice but it'd be really rewarding if it went well :P You can always be a music teacher and play in a band though :P

I figured as much, I was more agreeing with you by putting it into my own words... I do that a lot.

    I deserve that :|

Maccas is going down hill fast. The managers are stupid and the crew are becoming stupider by the minute... The way I see it, if there's something you actually want to do then do it, if there isn't do something that you can tolerate so you can have fun outside. You're lucky having a job you actually want to do, I envy that desire. Not actually having started the degree would make it a lot harder to form opinions, that's for sure xD

I agree, earn was the wrong word to use. They should be given the respect from the start, perhaps not because they're adults but because of their position as a teacher and then work on actually keeping that respect. Some teachers just expect it and it never goes down too well.

For a second I believed that and thought you had a lightsaber mod for Skyrim so you weren't so focussed on the game XD Took me a good 3 seconds to realise.

That's true and it really shows in how they teach. But personally I'd think even if it's something you don't like, as an adult you should go to work with a good work ethic... I try and work well and I work at McDonalds :/ But you're going at it with the right attitude. If you actually like teaching then you're well on the way to being much better than most teachers out there.

I never had any real interests in any of the subjects at school. What I did like though was how certain teachers portrayed those subjects. It was like they were interested in the subject at hand and passionate about passing the knowledge on more than just how to pass the exams. The moods in those classes also seemed better so it wasn't only me that preffered it. When teachers were just using the book word for word and not caring to actually teach the students really didn't care as much. Those teachers would have stricter rules and yet they'd also have the most misbehaving students. It's not so much that kids these days don't care about teachers it's more that a lot of teachers really don't earn their respect, they just expect it.

Psh, don't let the truth get in the way of a good story :P

    That would be interesting.

They are. What I'm scared of is impulse... I may just decide to look at something questionable and share it on facebook just share it on Facebook just to see the response people give. I really don't think I'll do that but I get weirdly paranoid about what I might just do for the hell of it.

I agree with that teaching stuff. Our schooling system is way too exam focussed and people end up basically knowing what boxes to tick and not a whole lot more. If you could teach them actual concepts and throw in some humour to keep them interested I think that could go down really well. The current standard of teaching is really low though. It seems that most of the time it's the younger teachers that actually engage the students and keep their attention while the older ones tend to be disconnected and just suck. Saying that my best teacher in High School was old but most of the time it worked out how I said.

Yeah, I figured as much. That's still an insane amount of time to save :P Yeah, not being able to transfer items over is annoying (I haven't actually transferred anything though xD)

    Us Aussies love our Pokemon.

It's just saying that Facebook watches what you're doing on the net while you're on facebook and puts it in the mini facebook on the corner. You have to let it but the amount of people that will just click to let that without paying attention is going to be high and they're who I'm waiting for.

It really is. Nobody is going to listen when they feel like you're treating them like an idiot. I just like it when things are put into more humerous terms. I think learning and laughing should be mixed. It would really help kids pay attention for longer in class.

I could not spend 4 hours transferring Pokemon and moving boxes around, that would drive me crazy... Coming from someone who spent about that time hatching eggs over and over but that's beside the point. It's crazy how long it takes to save when you change the boxes around but 2 minutes is insane. I don't think I've even had it take 30 seconds before 0.0

:P That's normally a safe bet but I've noticed that this site has a lot of Australian users compared to uhh, other sites xD

It's actually quite likely to happen, maybe not for me to see because I tend to unsubcribe from people unless I actually talk to them but yeah... After having a look at this page it seems REALLY likely...

I just thought it was a good way to explain it xD I find things actually make more sense when explained like that.

I think our times are the same, you being in NSW and me being in VIC. Experimenting is fun, you're like a scientist! That sounds really good and I am going to try it sometime in the near future.

I'm just hoping I find my friends accidently posting porn on their walls and having their family comment... That would be really funny to actually see.

I probably shouldn't mention this as it gets me in a lot of trouble with people buut I've never seen an episode of Dr Who. It wouldn't matter how clear you were I wouldn't have got it xD

xD I'm in a better state of mind than I was before so I can grasp a vague understanding of time (I think although I'm sure it's waaay more complicated than my understanding but I don't care).

It's too late to edit. I'm home, sober on a Saturday night, you've got no hope xD I really need to organise something with some friends though, haven't caught up with anyone since my last exam and I wouldn't mind a drink.

We probably were contacts but yeah, a lack of msn on both parts and even though I started using it again to keep in touch with a certain friend it's a new address.

I half think that's a good idea and half don't. Everything links to Facebook these days (Even certain adult sites... or so I've been told... but that's a topic for not this site).

I too am always up for a chat and figured if I am other people probably are as well so I might as well try initiating which seems to be something more people avoid than not.

I am wayy too tired to think about time right now. I spent a good 10 minutes trying to think of how time would differ and how it works because of that phrase and I am completely lost. I can see myself reading back on this and kicking myself as well...

Life's been treating me rather well and seems to be going up from here which is good, how's it treatin' you? Zapdos would probably be my favourite of the legendary birds but it can't hold a candle to Jolteon's badassery :P

Yeah, that's true... if all else fails, I think I have a few skills elsewhere I can expand upon. I do have a strong love for science, specifically chemistry and physics.

Teaching, eh? How's that treatin' you?

Yes, because Melbourne is clearly superior to Sydney and demands greater respect.

Stilll on the way home from the shops, but the connection tour was great.

I met up with Eon-Rider there and we took on the various mini games that were part of the MotionPlus series. I've got to admit, the games were mostly great and intuitive, although the Virtua Tennis was really clumsy. Quite literally, the players occasionally trip over without warning. Maybe that was just me - Eon-Rider thrashed me. XD

I have to say the best games were the Fencing, which was a damn...

Okay, I want to start making blogs again, so Imma start with a Platinum Log, as it's holidays and nothing interesting is happening :D.

Beginning - Load from save in Canalave Gym

I entered the battle with Byron expecting it to be a tough battle, so I had my Magmortar sitting in the wings to roast his Steel Pokemon.

Well I went to a friend's the other morning, so I wasn't online yesterday.
Pretty awesome time, though. We (there were four of us) sat in a boat on their dam, for ages with coke and chips. We did a few other crazy things, like jumping of the roof into the pool and playing with fireworks.

Also watched a few movies: Tropic Thunder, Pineapple Express, Boogeyman 2 (lol, it's pathetic, considering it's supposed to be horror.)
Yeah, it was all good.

Uh, that was just to get your attention. If it did, post a comment saying so. :D

Um, it's raining, which is good - it keeps the weather cooler. (It was ~40% Yesterday.) Um, boring day at home. Yeah.

I might be going to a friend's place tomorrow, so that'll be interesting, although I won't be here. Hmmm. I might actually get a name change to my real name, if only it wasn't already taken by some noob with 3 posts and no activity since 2004.

Hmmm... I've achieved...
