Lol, but vars are easier to keep track of with storylines. Check out my notes:

    40A2 - *Blank Var* DON'T CHANGE!
    40A3 - Storyline var 1
0001- Player woke up in room.
0002- Just before fall down steps.
0003- Has talked to mother & Oak downstairs.
    0004- Boy fell.
0005- Has talked to Oak, but hasn't recieve pokemon.
0006- Picked Pokemon, needs to go see the Professor.
    0007- Battled Prof. OAK
    0008- Recieved Pokedex
    0009- Recieved Running Shoes

So far, the story is fairly linear, so this makes it really easy

Just introduced to vars, and you have been hacking for HOW long, with 3.5 completed hacks?XD

I can't script without vars, I use them far more often then flags, haha.

So do I, that's why I get help. I'm sure there there are plenty of spriters willing to help you,

Is the story well thought-out? I trust your awesomeness, but it seems a bit weird to involve Brendan/May simply because original sprites are hard work. No offense but, shouldn't hacks require that kind of dedication to pay off in the end?

A new Ruby Destiny!? *gasp* yay. So many questions! (if you don't mind)
Is this a sequel or a prequel? Who's the protagonist? Someone new or familiar? Why are you making it if LoG was intended to be the last? Are you really dedicated enough to see this through? Will some mysterious Pokemon like Sprizzle and Yiyan have a bigger role or at least an explanation? Will you release screens and previews often or keep progress hidden? How can I hug you from over here?

The best place to have posted was the Quick Questions & Feedback thread, since technically after posting that post you'd get 5000 posts XD

    Hey again~
I was looking around LoG's Advanced Map stuff and came across this map:

I was looking at the events' offsets and found that the four really long scripts' offsets are barely different from each other, just a few numbers higher:

I was wondering how you did this. The only thing that is changed in each of those script boxes is the movement that the player makes to get to the "scene of action". Alothough, when I insert a very long script into my ROM and have to insert the same script just with different movements like you did, my offsets for the scripts are majorly different from each other (because there's so much data being inserted). But when you do this, your offsets are very similar to each other..

I guess what I'm trying to get at is how did you change the movement in all four scripts and not fill lots of ROM data with the same script four times in a row?
Not sure if this made sense but its worth a try anyways
    Thanks in advance.

P.S.: Good luck with Ruby Destiny #4

Um, hi? Sorry if this is another bothering request >.<
So, recently, I've picked hacked ROMs, and I've decided to make my own! (May I thank you for such awesome games? :D) anyways, I'm having a tough time with all this pokemon adding - how were you able to add all 649 to the game? (as in, how do you add more pokemon BESIDES the ? pokemon you find in YAPE? again, I'm sorry if this is a trivial question, but I'm still learning the basics...
YES, I did try everything- I googled it, dowloaded stuff, and even watched the tutorials you gave.:/

Hello and good day.

I am happy to share with you guys that I've made quite a lot of progress with the game.
But by progress, I mean the technical sides...
Meaning, I've managed to successfully increase the number of attacks of the game, so now, I don't have to replace old ones. :3

And oh, I hired a mapper. Haven't heard from him yet as of this writing though.

Anyway, I've been experimenting with adding new types into the game.

Hello and good day to everyone.
I have made some progress with the fourth RD game this month.

Let's first start with a small video preview.

The video will show you some scenes of Cerulean City.

And after that, some screenies.

This screenshot is the event that will happen at the end of the video above.

As you

This will be my very first blog entry, and uh... Let's start with news about the Ruby Destiny series.

You may or may not have heard that I am starting the fourth Ruby Destiny game. :3

I began working on the game on July, 2013, and on that month, I uploaded the very first sneak peek
