While everyone believed that the Kalos and OrAs Hoenn are one universe, I beg to differ. I believe Kalos' universe shares the same as the first 5 Generations, my reason is XY and OrAs' story just doesn't connect to each other:
    - Valerie shouldn't exist in OrAs, let alone her Gym.
Fairy-types are recent discoveries on the XY era, which takes place at least 10 years after the events in the Hoenn region. A Fairy Girl on Route 123 says she'll make a Fairy-type Gym before Valerie gets to in the Hoenn region.
    - PSS and Super Training shouldn't exist in Hoenn either.
Clemont invented the systems, he wasn't born or perhaps a toddler during the events of OrAs.

Are the Gen VI games trying to tell us they took place in the same time frame? Probably. But that creates more flaw, for example Oceanic Museum says Royal Unova is still in construction, while a NPC says Team Plasma was making news a while back in the Unova region.

I heard AquaBlue(or WaterBlue?) was actually registered as a trademark. While that game didn't turned out eventually, it makes me smile that they took the effort to register it.

His anime counterpart is definitely great! Even Marina from The Legend of Thunder! is a fan of Lance! ^^ Not a fan of his HgSs attire? Now only if Lance can pull off this attire.

Started with the Japanese Yellow version in 1998, let's just pretend I started playing from Gen III. I'm not admitting I'm that old. x'D Jk.

So I see a Lance fan, one of my favorite battles is against Lance on Soul Silver.

On the story line aspect, OrAs is actually a parallel universe of the original Hoenn games. :') But that isn't a great excuse for OrAs to fall behind Emerald.
Oops I forgot about the Battle Frontier, xD They would fit on the Sevii Islands. :D But yeah the said features would compliment FrLg greatly. Now if I were a hacker, I would have hacked Emerald and turn it into a FrLg third version with the Emerald features of course. ^^

    Your boyfriend.

You are making me feel old, I started with Gen I. :(

Buddy, please HgSs but not OrAs! :( RS was good, Emerald improved but OrAs is like somewhere between RS and Emerald, whereas it's suppose to be better than Emerald. I personally think that Elekid, Bellosom, Steelix etc. should be part of the Kanto dex, as most regional dexes are suffering diversity problems which really limits the players selection. If FrLg shared the same mechanics as Emerald, like Abilities secondary effects, Gym rematches

Yeah, I noticed the fandom loves his new appearance more. People are entitled to their favorites, as long as they don't bash others to promote their favs.~

Tell me the 'very flawed remakes' of FrLg, I played the games but they are just colorful carbon copies of the originals aside from a few tweaks like the addition of Gen II and III moves like Aerial Ace, Metal Claw etc.

    Ah, aren't you sweet?
Remake can be good or not, I didn't like Morty's remake even it suits his theme and his type. I liked him as hunky and sporty-like.

But Lance can't only use Dragon-types IMO. Gyarados is associated with him, and Gyarados isn't a Dragon-type. If anything, I like how he actually tries to counter his weakness (with Charizard).

His team in GSC was clearly meant as a progression of his RBY team, hence the three Dragonites. And each of them had a different elemental move, so they had different strengths. The strongest one had Safeguard, Outrage and Fire Blast.

I've never put much thought into it because I've always felt the Dragonites to be a fair challenge. It's not like you couldn't catch underleveled Pokémon in the games either (Dragonair for example). Enemies aren't always bound by the same rules as you. It's a way to compensate for poor AI, or to balance the game.

I'm pretty sure his Aerodactyl had Ancientpower in GSC and that they put Rock Slide to avoid him being PP-starved.

What I was annoyed with was when in a game that was supposed to be competitive (Stadium) the enemies could have moves outside their movepools. But that was because they added the Crystal-only moves to R2, while Stadium 2 was released before Crystal in the West.

Would you like a Yellow remake or a RB/RG remake or FrLg remake? :o

Wow which means you're into Lance for a long time!

In a similar way, saying Unova remakes can either mean the initial games of Gen V of the sequels. That is why I say DP remakes, RS remakes instead of the region or even the generations themselves.

You really love Lance that much, don't you? XD

I've seen posts like that as well. These kind of posts give me the 'you serious' face. lol

Sure, HgSs/GSC Kanto is still Kanto, but technically they aren't really Kanto remakes.

'Good luck exploring Pokémon Tower and Silph Co in HGSS, as well as battling Giovanni for the final badge and seeing Lorelei and Agatha at the Indigo Plateau.

Since sequels are apparently the same thing as prequels, how about we just skip over BW altogether and only remake B2W2 when Gen 5 comes up for remakes? Unova is Unova, right? Who'll notice?'
Cracking up at this, seriously it's the best post of the day. You made my day, hahaha!

I don't mind it very much. Didn't play ORAS anyway.

Skeetendo is a thing of beauty. ^^

There may have been a critical hit in the equation. :P

I wanted him to finish Mewtwo off with Explosion, but he didn't.

    Did you know there's a Lugia/Ho-Oh forum skin? ^^

Also, my friend killed Mewtwo without Exploding. He just spammed Thunder, the first one paralyzed it, then Mewtwo couldn't move.

    I'll choose a better font.

Realistically, they probably could. Heck, a friend beat the Stadium Mewtwo with Electrode once. But for marketing reasons, to promote Mega Evolution, they made it necessary for a Mega to weaken Mewtwo.

It's worth noting that the Mega Charizards are both stronger than the birds and Dragonite.
