I think that I've sorely misjudged the plot line of NaT, HaT...I've seen three episodes so far and it has thrown my expectations out the window. It seems more about balancing civil liberties and survival rather than "Let's use our powers to blast (insert entity here)."

What else...I learned an important lesson. Do not play tennis with twenty people on a court (ten on each side). Our team tried it and it was...scary. Everyone was so jam-packed that whenever someone took a swing, two or more people would almost get their heads cut off. It wasn't so bad if you were standing in back but if you were up at the net...Not to mention the fact that every third ball hit a player instead of a racket. We even tried one-versus nineteen and surprisingly, the side with one person won. That was lol-worthy.

I guess that's the only exciting thing that happened within the last few days.

I'll look for the Anime there. And I'm fine with questionable elements. I've watched Bleach before and that gets pretty intense. Whenever there's a battle, blood is spewed everywhere. In most instances, the loser is knocked out cold only to wake up a few days later and find that they have multiple bones broken. Not to mention the fact there's this crazed scientist who likes to tell gruesome stories about his "experiments'" deaths.

Um...what else...I've finnished the next chapter of Elements and am in the process of proofreading and editing. I hope to have it published by this weekend. I have to say that Planesphere has proved to be good music to write fight-scenes to...It's grown on me.

I just saw the first episode of Now and There, Here and There. I must say...it does seem interesting. I was laughing pretty hard when the kid (forgot what his name is) beat up those mechanical dragon-things to try to save LaRue.

I can see a sort of parallel to our fan fictions...the main characters say "Woah...we have extra-worldly powers. Screw the rules! Let's get away from these guys who want them! No, they're chasing us!...yes, we're free! What now?..."

Although I haven't seen enough of the anime to conclude that it follows this plotline, I can make a conjecture based on what you told me and the first episode. Pity that LaRue had to be captured. Hopefully she gets free.

I also found that Justice has done a fifteen-minute, four-part song called "Planesphere" for a fashion show in France. I know it sounds weird but it actually isn't too bad. Not their best work, but still something worthwhile to listen to. Here's the first part. You should be able to navigate to the other three parts using the sidebar.

Huh. I'll really have to look into that show, then. The last anime I tried was Bleach. It got kind of boring part way through so I stopped watching. Then Bobobo, which was one of the randomest things I've ever seen. I wonder what happened to it...

But yeah, I'll have to check NaT, HaT out. I'm currently in the middle of a writer's block. I'm less than a page away from finnishing the next chapter of Elements and I keep on rewritting it. I was hoping to publish this weekend, but we'll see.

And I smell food...homemade pizza, I think. I may have to leave in a minute.

Maybe I'll look into the anime. It sounds interesting but I haven't had that much time for TV lately. And Sandstorm...I love that song. It's too bad that I can never find the original to download. There's like a million remixes of it.

Also of note, one of my friends brought his iHome to P.E. class yesterday. It can play ipods and mp3 players over a set of speakers. I gave my friends a taste of Justice. The majority agreed that the music was "club-worthy" and that it was good to play badminton to. One kid whined about it though and said that it sucked...So he put on his ipod and played music from an artist called Infected Mushroom. They sounded psy-trance-ish, not too bad, actually.

I've also discovered a compilation mix by Tiesto called Nyana. I've listened to a good portion of it and it's very laid-back, kind of reflective. Here's the opening track.

Yeah, I thought it might not suite your tastes. I just kinda had to throw it out there. And I just thought of something...it seems like Tiesto's job is to fly around the world to break records. Think about it. At the 2004 Olympics, he was the first DJ to play music at the opening ceremony. He was the first solo-DJ (I think) to sell-out a two night event. He held the world's second-largest concert on a beach in Chile (again, I think). Just recently, he gave a concert in the UK that sold out on both nights, which I think set some sort of record for that country...

I actually envy your position in the corpse. Right now I'm trying to forward my line to the next person on the list and they aren't responding. I'm considering just skipping them and moving to the next individual.

And small places...I've never had to live in one with one person who I didn't know. Never thought of it that way. I guess I like them because I don't have a lot of stuff. I don't need a big place to house it.

Going out on a tangent now...I'm in a multi-cultural literature class and over the semester, we have to do five separate "cultural projects". These can include attending a cultural festival, bringing in an artifact to share, or music. Yes, that's right, music. If I can put together a report on the origins of trance, I think that I could do a cultural project on it. Music is culture and although trance is all too often frowned upon for being associated with a "rave" culture, it is a culture nonetheless. I'll have to put some thought into it...

That was long...hope I didn't talk your ear off and I'll (hopefully) see you around sometime.

I don't know why, but small seems good to me. I guess it's because I've lived in a small house all my life.

I also know that discussion of the Corpse isn't exactly smiled upon...but let me just say this: I've planted some seeds and if others sow them, you will reap their benefits when your turn comes to write.

Um...what else? I'm listening to the Chemical Brothers' Hey Boy Hey Girl right now. Not your cup of tea, probably, but I have to say that it probably is the most Daft Punk-sounding of all their stuff.

Yeah, something about quarks, leptons, and dark matter. There was a time when they thought that atoms were the smallest units of matter...then nucleons...then leptons...then quark-leptons. It makes me wonder if there is a limit to how small the units can get.

I'm also hearing stories from sophomores in Biology. On the first day, their teacher takes a bunch of sugar and pours concentrated sulfuric acid onto it. The entire thing bubbles into a giant pile of ash. I remember my Biology teacher doing that as well.

I also remember the "science night" last year. I was volunteering at the station where you throw sodium into water and watch it spark, and fizzle, and pop into nothingness. One of my friends threw in a huge chunk and it exploded! The ceiling tiles were showered with cinders and the lights were splattered with black goop. That was a rush.

I could probably tell half a dozen dorky chemistry stories. I'll just leave it at that, I guess. lol

At school the other day there was someone on the tennis team with headphones...I think that they were skullcandy. Regardless, they were huge and they had a built-in bass. I took a listen and my gosh...those would do justice to Tiesto (pun not intended).

Today was jam-packed. Between tennis practice, honors classes, and homework, it's full. Let's see...I provided my debate class with information on nuclear power plants and half-lives (for a debate over a bill for nuclear power in a mock-congress). I guess that's my good deed for the day, lol.

I also reached a decision. I'm going to search for The Prodigy's album The Fat of The Land tomorrow. They've really grown on me, surprisingly. It should give me something to listen to while writing those intense fight-scenes.

EDIT: Woah...I just learned from Google that Large Hadron Collider went through some preliminary tests today. A 17-mile ring for subatomic particles to fly around and crash into each other. Apparently, it's going to provide further insight into the nature of matter (although I don't know exactly what those "insights" are). The science geek I am, I'm definitly going to be watching this.

Ah, really. I myself have found that psytrance is one of my favorite subgenres. If you happen to be on Youtube and you want to hear some good psytrance, I'd recommend looking up for 1200 Micrograms or Astral Projections.

And I saw that car commercial with Genesis on it. It was for a Cadillac hybrid or something? It only had a ten-second snippet (which pales in comparison to the nearly one-minute one in the jean commercial). Still, it really makes me wonder. Justice providing Genesis for a Cadillac and Daft Punk providing Technologic for a Lincoln. I smell a bit of competition...

I've never seen their funnel-webs before. I've just seen them running across the floor at high-speeds. They may be interesting to see, provided that it isn't in my house.

And we have spiders out here as well that build webs on porches. They're tinny though, so they don't bug me too much. Plus, their webs look kind of cool when they're covered with dew.

You know...I may have to seriously look into getting Tiesto's ISOS 6. His mix of Hide and Seek is what really attracted me. I'm not sure about the other songs. I'll look into them. There's also a few other albums that I want to buy...one by a particular psytrance project called CPU.

Which reminds me...Do you listen to psytrance?

The DS one was better. For one, you could save at anytime (no need to talk to your gyroid). There's also online play which is always fun (provided that visitors don't chop down your fruit trees).

The one coming out for Wii is going to be the first game to use "WiiSpeak" which is a microphone. That could prove to be fun while playing online...I'll have to see if I can persuade my aunt, uncle, and cousins to get AC, being that they all have Wiis and online access.

And there must be something weird with the spiders. There have been more this summer than I've seen in the past five years. They're also all the same: big, brownish-black, and fast-moving. Daddy long legs are scary, but they just kind of amble around. You have plenty of time to react. These guys move fast like they're on a mission or something! After doing some research though, I think that I may have found what these are: hobo spiders.

I live right within that green spot on the map, so hobo spiders are a pretty good possibility. I've only been able to find one other type of "house spider" that lives in the northwest, and those are much larger than the ones that I've seen. Not to mention the fact that I would have to drive north a couple hours and jump the border to see them. I'm very, very thankful for that because if I saw one of those...*shudders*
