Well, there is a ROM base for that, and many people are making D/P tile lookalikes. Make custom tiles. If they are good, people like them.

What, you mean old tiles? Isn't there a ROM base for that in ROM hacking Resources?

I spell it right and wrong sometimes... Anyway, I've stopped tiling for a while.

OK, this Petalburg. I've not edited, as I've focused on tiles and colours first. Most things that I have edited are in here. This isn't an actual map.

Thats easy. No offence but that would be too easy. I need tiles which aren't of Nintendo origin to be honest. I prefer Kyledove's. I can show you an update pic if you want?

Whats my obsession with Ruby as well? I love the tiles, and I prefer Ruby... Any hack I want to make will be on Ruby, unless I need something Firered has.

Thanks. I'm working on Kyledove's tiles (or a few of them) and pallettes into Ruby

Oops, haven't looked on my page for quite some time, sorry for that.
i will explain it better this time
You need to have a unpatched firered rom version 1.0 (version 1.1 doesn't work from my experience). Then you open up the program gbata7a-en and go to ips patcher. then you ips patch the rom with the ips patch you downloaded. A new file will be created so open up the now shinygold patched rom and SRAM patch it. Another file will be created but the sram and ips patching will have made it unbootable (damaged header) so you will have to fix it. That is simply done by opening the damaged file (in gbata of course), go to the header viewer tab and click fix header. It probably asks you to select a file to fix your header with and it needs the original firered rom to do it. However backup your original firered rom first because this time instead of creating a new file the original firered rom will be overwritten with the patched data of the sram and ips file. This leaves the rom you started with the shinygold rom you can use on your flashcart.
Doing this probably solves any save issues you have with it however i've only tested this on my ez flash 3in1 (and it worked wonderfully)
