Do you keep deleting my questions? If so, could you please tell me why instead of just not informing me at all?
EDIT: I just realized you moved it to the Gen VI thread. It would be nice if you (or whoever did it) let me know so I wouldn't post it a second time in the first place.

Hey Maruno, I posted a thread for my game a couple days ago. (Pokemon Wisteria). I'm still waiting for it to get approved, however it was posted right before PC went down, so I'm not sure if it got approved/declined or it got deleted.

I see your point. Motivation and coming together as a team with one goal always works best with money as a catalyst, which is why I asked. I'm going through tutorials for everything now so thanks for the resource!

Interesting. I am just curious, and I know that you said you wouldn't but how monumental of a task is it if a team picked it up and attempted to port it to the newest rpg maker, for better resources? Do you think it feasible to be a kickstarter project? I see this website with enough traffic I think it would be a good go-to (speaking completely unknowingly of the legalities of the matter of course).

Hello, sorry if this has been asked before or if there is some background info to it, I'm still learning this website and search functions and haven't found any info yet but I am just curious as to why the rpg maker xp is the only program compatible with pkmn essentials? I don't pretend at all to know alot in the programming world but the rpg maker xp is very outdated, and even so with the new rpg maker mv on the way is there any way to utilize the newest and most powerful program? Thanks for your time

Sorry to bother, but do I get a notification if my thread gets accepted or decline? If not, is it possible you could tell me? Thank you in advance.

I was contemplating using placeholder assets to begin with, but I wasn't sure if it was acceptable to present on the forums using placeholder stuff. I assume that means it is OK. Yeah, I understand that having a working display would be good. Thanks.

Oh also another thing, if you don't mind. Where am I able to recruit people? I only need one other person, so I'm not sure where to go or whatever. If you could point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.

Right. It appears that I was simply mistaken in the actual purpose of the thread. Thanks for clarifying. I'll post again when I've done some work.

Ah, forgive me. I have read the rules and I understand how much is supposed to be in a thread, but for an idea thread some of the things can't apply... so I'm not sure. Can you give me a rough outline of what is needed in simply an "idea" thread? Thanks.

Hey, Maruno. I don't mean to bother you or anything, but I believe I submitted a thread about 3 days ago maybe and I haven't heard anything back. Well aware that the process can take multiple days, so I just wondered if I've not allowed ample time or it's been disapproved and I was not informed. Either way, thanks.

How would you recommend making a thread for a new essentials game? How would you put captions and words in bold? And also how to show screenshots? Lol I'm sorry.

Now that we've got that misunderstanding out of the way... you're probably thinking, "Where's the background/plot of Steel/Ice?" Well, I'll give it to you here and now:

About one year before the events of X/Y, a youth from Tributary Town, in Albion, dreamed of becoming a Pokémon Trainer. That dream came true one fateful day, when Professor Willow got attacked while studying a wild Pokémon. The soon-to-be-minted Trainer saved her using one of three Pokémon, and Professor Willow, as thanks, let the youth have that Pokémon.

The new Trainer had two ambitions: firstly, to take on the Pokémon League's Albion Challenge; and secondly, to help Professor Willow complete the Pokédex she had been working on. Along the way, though, this new Trainer gets entangled in a war between two ecoterrorist organizations: Team Calor, which is attempting a Second Industrial Revolution, and Team Freeze, which is going to extremes to save the planet from global warming. Can this Trainer make it to the top, advance the realm of Pokémon research, and save the world from a potentially destructive ecological conflict?
