    Yeah, I'll get more money.

    I don't like change. ._.
That's my problem. I never like it when people rearrange the furniture or if somebeody messes with my desktop layout. I think, you're right, though. I'll get used to it, and, if not, I'll find a way to switch it back to Vista Aero on 7.

Kumon maths basically gets you to do hundreds of simple questions to force your brain into memorising every single combination of n + n or n x n type questions. In theory, I suppose, if you come across, say, 34+53, you don't need to add it up, and the answer will already be embedded into your brain somehow. The method works, to an extent, but it's really tedious.

I know what you mean. xD
Speaking of which, I'm done with HOTD, and I'm now wishing for a second season. :P
I suppose the manga will suffice for now. The OVA, on the other hand, was fairly disturbing. Not as explicit as Episode 6, but it had more implied mature content. Despite that hallucination, Saeko still remains one of my favourite characters from the series. It's the sword, yes.

    Yeah, I haven't figured that one out yet. ^^;
    Myself = enjoy =/= addicted.
Addiction would imply fanboying. The level of which I haven't achieved for this series. Now George Orwell, that's someone to fanboy over.

This is me being pedantic, but bahasa literally means language. :P
Well, Indonesians might use it differently, but I'm Malay, so that's how I use the word.
You know, like, Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Inggeris, Bahasa Indonesia.
I suspect the malay word for english comes from the Japanese. :P
That's the only explanation I can come up with for the 'L' randomly turning into 'R's.

To an extent, though, you're lucky, relatively speaking. When I was in Year 7/Form 1/Tingkatan 1, I had to do literature analyses in both English and Malay. I studied this malay novel, by the way. Good stuff.

Don't follow my grammar though. xD
The differences between Indonesian Malay and Malaysian Malay are slightly more extreme than British English and American English.

I have mixed feeling about the graphics. Parts of it are good, and parts of it are bad.
I didn't really like Black City or White Forest much. The whole story didn't play so well for me, and I didn't like Team Plasma, with the exception of N who I thought was nice.

The Pokemon were mostly very bad in my view. Ice cream, gears, and a lot of trashy Pokemon in terms of looks. And Trubbish and Garbodor are literally trash.
I did like some of them. Just so you know, whether I like them or not mainly depends on their impact on me created by their looks and... feel or something. Hard to explain...
My main team consists of only Pokemon I liked from that region, though there are more Pokemon outside my team that I liked. My team is Samurott, Braviary, Lilligant, Carracosta, Volcarona, and Reshiram. What about your team?

I found my XP CD and I downloaded a recovery disk from Sony. Now I am debating whether or not I should proceed since, if I do this, I won't be able to get Vista back. On the other hand, I could just wait till I get enough money to buy more Ram. Yeah, I think I'll do the latter. Really, the only thing bugging me atm is the slow bootup. I solved the slow other things by setting it to High Performance.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not really a fan of 7's Aero. *shot* xD
It looks a bit fat to me, and I don't like the giant tabs. Also, Vista's Aero has the round windows button stick out of the taskbar. <3
7 doesn't have that. But this is just my opinion.

Yeah, I never went. My younger brothers did. I still tutor them in maths though so what's the point?

Lol. Ymmv stands for Your mileage may vary. As in, one man's meat is another man's poison and everyone has their opinion, all that jazz.

The manga, I've been meaning to read. Never got around to doing it :P
This goes on the list along with Detective Conan.

MLP is bearable, in fact I do enjoy it to an extent. But that's just because I like cartoons, along with anime, because... they're cartoons. I mean, who didn't grow up with cartoons before switching to anime, barring the Japanese of course. xD
Bugs Bunny is an instant classic. For contemporary, Cartoon Network had some great ones during my time, which wasn't too long ago.

Well, for starters it's animated by BONES, which is a fantastic animation studio (Darker Than Black, Soul Eater, Fullmetal Alchemist). It's got the voices of Light Yagami and Lelouch vi Britannia in it, among others. It's remarkably well written, and it doesn't settle into a genre easily. It flips between slice of life/school anime, mecha, sci-fi, mystery, slapstick comedy . . . The characters are colourful and likeable, and the story is really well put together.

About Me

  • About s0nido
    gahhhh I suck at these but here we go >.<;

Hey there, my name's Omer. Currently a pharmacy student and loving it. I love Pokemon, like many of you, I'm sure, and I've been playing since 2001, with my first Pokemon game being Pokemon Silver.

I joined this site in mid-2008 after trying to find a particular Pokemon hack, and came to love it. I kinda died in activity after 2010, but with Pokemon X and Y just being released and the summer holidays arriving for me over here, I've decided to make use of all my spare time and renewed love for Pokemon and resume activity here~

I'd like to think that I'm easy to talk to, so feel free to send a VM my way. I'd love to get to know you all more~
    Video Games:
I consider myself an intermediate gamer. The video games that I play/have played include:
    - The World Ends with You (omg <3)
    - Pokemon (duh)
    - Several Pokemon spin-offs including Trozei, Dash, Stadium and the first Pokemon Ranger (though that was a loooong time ago)
    - Metroid Prime Hunters
    - Advance Wars (Dual Strike and Days of Ruin, touched the first two in the series but never finished them)
    - Animal Crossing (Wild World and New Leaf)
    - Mario Kart (DS and 7, will own your ass in MK7)
    - A LOT of Mario platformers for handhelds
    - Trauma Center (Under the Knife 1&2, Second Opinion)
    - Halfway through Final Fantasy X
    - Age of Empires (played all 3 games and all their expansions except AoE3: Asian Dynasties and AoE2HD: The Forgotten)
    - Minecraft
    - SimCity (played 3, 4 and 4: Rush Hour. Rush Hour is my favourite one, but I also haven't played it in ages)
Probably a few others that I haven't listed here since I forgot/didn't consider it important enough to list, but if you talk to me enough, you might find out the rest. :P

I could just list everything here but instead I'm gonna be lazy and link you my terribly neglected MyAnimeList profiles~
Though honourable mentions go to the following (assuming I'm listing anime only unless stated differently):
    - Kaichou wa Maid-sama! (anime and manga, though I liked the anime better)
    - Elfen Lied (manga and anime)
    - Durarara!!
    - Gintama (not even close to being up to date but I love it all the same)
    - Itazura na Kiss (manga and anime)
    - Kokoro Connect
    - Kimi ni Todoke
    - Code Geass
    - Spirited Away
    - 5 Centimeters per Second
    - Steins;Gate (STEINS;GATE OMG)
I know, I'm not a very good anime fan. XD

My music library consists of an unholy mix of J-Rock, J-Pop and J-Indie songs mixed in with a bit of regular pop, indie pop, music from game and anime OSTs and some other tracks I run into here and there. My favourite band right now is the J-Rock band Jinn. I also really like Kelun, YUI and Aqua Timez, among others.

Way too many to list here, but some of my favourites include:
    - Nineteen Eighty Four by George Orwell
    - Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
    - The Artemis Fowl Series by Eoin Colfer (basically anything by Eoin Colfer)
    - The Millennium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson
    - Does My Head Look Big In This? by Randa Abdel-Fattah (I have no idea why but I've read that book at least 10 times)
    - 1Q84 by Haruki Murakami (I think I need to read this again because it made no sense the first time. though I freaking loved it. <3)

Random interests of mine also include technology, medicines and drugs (hence why I'm studying Pharmacy :P) and Wikipedia.
    Laverre City
    Male ♂
    Pharmacy Student
    Favorite Pokémon
Suicune, Sylveon, Absol, Raikou, Hydreigon, Articuno, Umbreon...I could go on forever.

I finished IV breeding 2 Pokemon, Honedge and Fletchling. I spent at least an hour IV breeding for the Fletchling to have 5 perfect IVs and the ability Gale Wings, and then an extra half hour for the Honedge. AND THEN I LEAVE MY 3DS CLOSED WITHOUT SAVING. AND OF COURSE I ACCIDENTALLY REMOVE THE ****ING GAME CARD. UGHHH.

I absolutely love Gengar now. Currently running it holding Life Orb with Timid nature, 252 SpA/4 SpD/252 Spe and the following moves: Shadow Ball, Sludge Bomb, Thunderbolt and Focus Blast. It pretty much OHKOs almost everything that's not too bulky or doesn't resist its moves and 2HKOs everything else. The only problem is that it takes huge damage from anything that's neutral or stronger, so if it's outsped, it's screwed.

Another Pokemon worth an honourable mention is Sylveon. Currently...

It feels like Animal Crossing and the book 1Q84 had a baby together and produced this little gem. I've only played it for less than 2 hours so far, but I feel like it's $10.40 well spent. If you haven't heard of this game before, let me give you a little explanation. Basically, it's about a suburb (?) in Tokyo which has monsters from a popular TV show come to life and fight in the town every Friday. I'm not very far into the game myself, having only started yesterday, but it's really addictive...

I thought it wouldn't be so tough when I managed to score a Gible with 5 perfect IVs on my first try. It was deceptively easy. All I did was throw two Gabites which I caught from the Friend Safari into the day care and BAM, a Gible with 5 perfect IVs was hatched after the 1st egg. So I thought that I must've been blessed with a wonderful sort of luck and tried the same thing with an Eevee. 2 days and 3 boxes of Eevees later (and a LOT of inbreeding) I finally yield the desired results. Currently...

I could've sworn it was just March the other day. Now it's already November. Yes, I know that people say this at the end of every year, something along the lines of "time is flying", but it really is. So much has happened this year, too. It's hard to believe that all this happened so fast.
Well, here's to the rest of the year~
