Well, that kinda sucks, but it's not like I have much internet access anyway. I'll definitely email you, though.

Really? You can't believe that I enjoy our conversations? You're witty, sardonic, and, aside from some rare typos, grammatically correct. You're a brilliant ray of sunshine upon my dreary day, and I wouldn't trade our conversations for anything in the world. Furthermore, if I wasn't able to see the kindness behind your insult, then I would be a sad, lonely preson indeed.

Just to spite you, I disagree with your statement about wisdom. Wisdom is a marvelous cure for pain (the non-conjunctavitis variety of it, anyway). All that any creature on this planet needs to be happy is a bit of wisdom and Elpis, the latter of which you confessed to possessing and the former I believe you to possess, or at least I believe that you are quite capable of attaining it. as a matter of fact, I would bet my life upon it.

You should attempt to thrust yourself into human contact some time. Does wonders for the nerves and digestion. I also hear that meeting someone new is probably the best way to relieve pain related to conjunctavitis and other spiteful microorganisms.

Ha ha ha, that's the spirit.

Fun fact, Pandora's box wasn't a box. It was a storage urn.

Being a walking Pandora's urn isn't bad, really. After everything horrible in this world was gone from it, there was only one thing left inside, and that was hope. You should be rather proud of that.

I'm actually a little insulted that you didn't think I'd miss you. Talking to you really is the best part of my day. I already told you that I won't have a life outside of the internet until school starts and actual human contact is once again thrust upon me, anyway. Even when it does, though, I'll still like talking to you.

So, finish kicking your infection out of your system so that I can berate you into having an actual conversation with me again.

Stop ****ing being sick, already. Talking to your sardonic self is the best part of my soulless day. Plus, it wouldn't have killed you to at least tell me that you're recovering... *Grumble*

Anyway, I miss you. Come back and depress me again.

You're welcome, and it's good to hear that you're recovering. I'm sorry for arguing and adding to your stress. I know you really didn't need it.

Because you say I've been speaking to you in walls of text, I'll try to keep this as brief as possible.

Believe what you want, but I do not lie. I am no liar,
Actually, I believe that you're suffering as much as you say you are. I've said that a number of times, including at the start of my last VM.

you're really gaining some sick pleasure at bothering me aren't you?
For someone who hates being accused of negative things, you sure are quick to make judgments about other people. What if I'm actually concerned that someone's gone 28 Days Later and might get worse? (And what if I, who may be a little like you, won't take things lying down either?)

Point is, I don't get any jollies from pestering the sick or arguing online. I've really got better things to do, especially given that I only have a couple of hours of free time each day. So, I've got other motivations.

Actually, I would call this an accusation:

So essentially, you're all saying that I'm a liar
It means I'm the kind of person who would call you an overdramatic hypochondriac. I respond by saying I never said any such thing. =/ In fact, I don't doubt you have the symptoms you say you do. It's whether or not you got your diagnosis 100% correct that worries me.

But that's beside the point. The reason why I started in that first post (and I certainly was not the first one to point out that you're probably best going to a doctor, nor do I really have enough pull in the community to get CWTA,P to come out and say something along the same lines) is to take a quote that you bolded yourself and help you put things into perspective. In other words, yes, I read the thread thoroughly and read about what you're looking for, but even then, what people were offering were actually pretty valid solutions from the perspective of someone who's just going on what you offered as background information. Some of the stuff (like who this person is and why they'd flip if they found out you were trying to get professional help for a problem) is pretty vague, so it's really not surprising that we'd offer probably one of the most basic responses to a medical issue one could give. In other words, if you're accusing me of not reading, I did, which is entirely why I responded -- to help you put things into perspective and make a decision that could end a lot of potential misery. You already were getting pretty miserable over arguing against the people who kept saying go to the doctor before I even entered the thread.

Also, because you've called people who offered the wrong kind of advice immature (some immature enough to even take it to another level) and said that if we're going to continue to give you the same advice, we might as well leave your thread (If you don't agree with me, then you could have simply ignored this thread.) and that we quite possibly don't give a damn about you (or maybe you all just don't give a damn.), it should be noted that it doesn't look like you're open for suggestion from their viewpoint. If you didn't mean all that, rather than accuse everyone else of misinterpreting you, it might be a good idea to give your posts another once-over to see if there's anything that could be considered accusing the people posting in your thread of saying things or taking up attitudes they never actually said or meant. Just saying this to save yourself the trouble of creating a somewhat circular argument in which people respond to the way you're talking to them with more arguments and insults.

Alternatively, considering you've gotten your answer (or a number of possible ones and probably the only ones you're going to get out of the people there, judging by what the conversation has shifted to), perhaps it's best to just ignore any further responses that you don't like (like any of them that sound like they're accusing you of something). I know it sounds rather hypocritical from someone who took the time to take you aside via VMs, but if you're dealing with a lot of **** right now, why aggravate it by responding? At this point, you've said what you had to say about doctors, so it's on record. If anyone responds to that with anything less than what you've expected, then you might as well forget it.

As for myself, I'll respond to whatever VM you want to send me out of politeness. *shrug*

I can't help but notice you accused me of calling you a liar. (When you said "you're all saying" in the first line of your post). Actually, I wasn't. =/ Nowhere in my post did I even imply that I thought you were lying about your disease or the fact that you're hesitant about going to the doctor. If I made you think I was, I'm sorry.

Seriously, though, I know you keep getting the same advice over and over again, but please stop acting this way towards people who are trying to help you, which was my entire point. (Aside from I really don't think avoiding the doctor would help that other person's blood pressure.) Yes, some of us who are posting actually give a damn about you. Those people wouldn't be posting at all if we didn't.

It also sounds like you're generally not open for discussion. You asked about advice to ease the pain, and getting rid of the disease would probably ease it. If you get repeat advice, it's just something to be expected from a Pokémon forum because members tend to do that. Moreover, as I've said in my last post there, if you diagnosed yourself via the internet, remedies to ease your pain are just another Google search away. I would have listed them, but I figured you'd rather just look for yourself and pick and choose what you want to do.

In other words, I know you're sick, but if you want people to stop posting the way they are, being defensive about it and accusing half the people who are posting in your thread of doing something not all of them are doing is just not the right way to go about things.

I just stalked you looked at some of the threads that you've made, and I read the FF XII poem about 'Snowy Fafnir." You're a good writer! Seriously, why didn't you tell me how good you are? That was one of the most inventive poems that I've read recently. You've gotta let me read more sometime. If you don't, I'll boil you alive in a stewpot and then ship your frozen remains to Kambodia to feed Red Cross volunteers.

    And you don't want that.
