Post natures/held items and EVs =.=

Dusknoir
  • I dont know dusknoir much >_>
  • Shadow Punch
  • Will-o-Wisp
  • Pain Split
  • Ice Punch
I herd a Substitute on a Dusknoir is good is that ture?

Magnezone
  • Thunderbolt
  • MagnetRise
  • Flash Cannon
  • Tri attack?
^Magnezone is not for it's for my lil cuz^

Floatzel
  • He fails at competetive battling, end of story.
  • Waterfall
  • Ice Fang
  • Agility/Rain Dance
  • Brick Break

p.s. I'm thinking of getting a Floatzel, is that a good chose on the team?

Eh, I personally dont like dusknoir but w/e.

substitute is good on dusknoir only if you plan on using as a subpuncher.

Dusknoir @ Leftovers/Lum Berry
Impish Nature
204 ATK/252 HP/52 DEF
-Thunderpunch
-Focus Punch
-Substitute
-Will-o-Wisp/Pain Split

punks Blissey so badly.

for Magnezone, it depends how you want to use it.

floatzel is fun and makes a decent choice bander:

Flaotzel @ Choice Band
Jolly Nature
252 SPD/252 ATK/4 HP
-Waterfall
-Ice Fang
-Brick Break
-Aqua Jet/Crunch

Meh, I'm biased I guess. Gyrardos shall always be my no.2 physical attacking water type!

good call on choice band floatzel. dusknoir isn't usually a subpuncher but that set looks really good also.

I guess I'll do a magnezone set since it's the only one that hasn't been covered.

Magnet Pull
Timid
252sp.att 252speed 6hp
-thunderbolt
-hp ice
-magnet rise/substitute
-explosion/substitute

this is a funky set for outspeeding metagross and using magnet rise before they can KO you with earthquake. you can also use substitute over magnet rise but in that case you probably want bold/modest nature and ev's in hp and defense instead of speed.

Dusknoir
  • Shadow Punch
  • WoW/Toxic
  • Pain Split
  • Shadow Sneak/Shadow Punch

Magnezone
  • Magnet Rise/Explosion
  • Thunderbolt
  • Flash Cannon
  • HP Water
^Magnezone is not for me it's for my lil cuz^HP water covers more pokemon than HP ice, since a lot of rock/ground types are running around. It also covers the Fire type weakness.

Floatzel
  • Waterfall
  • Ice Fang
  • Crunch
  • Brick Break

p.s. I'm thinking of getting a Floatzel, is that a good chose on the team?

c_dog: HP Water covers more of its weaknesses/

Samson: Aqua Jet is unnecessary cuz Floatzel is fast enough to outrun most pokemon and it already has Waterfall as a water type move.

Shiraishi August 13th, 2007 8:11 AM

Dragon/Ground might be more common than Rock/Ground nows :/

Azonic August 13th, 2007 11:22 AM

You could just switch into Floatzel, speedy and powerful. And since this is UU, Garchomp won't be making many appearances.
