feebas/milotic

i know feebas evolves into milotic when his beauty level is maxed out. which i have done. but he doesnt want to evolve (hes level 27. do i have to make him friendly to me or something? could he evolve when he was say level 5 or 6?

Marcy_11 August 17th, 2007 11:21 PM

Are you certain that its beauty is maxed out? And have you lvled it up since maxing it?

Smarties-chan August 17th, 2007 11:35 PM

You obviously didn't feed it good enough Poffins. Even if it can't eat anymore poffins doesn't mean its beauty is maxed out.

Omni Arceus August 17th, 2007 11:43 PM

I HAVE A MILOTIC I GOT IT IN A TRADE

I GAVE MY FRIEND A FEEBAS THAT I BREED IT WE TRIED TO EVOLE IT, BUT WE FAILED

thomas1652 August 17th, 2007 11:45 PM

same thing happened to me... =[

oh well, i dont necessarily like Milotic -__-

No, you'll have to get a new Feebas and remember to feed it high quality poffin. I've always used Kelpsy berries with success so you could try those.

Shiraishi August 18th, 2007 12:10 AM

I use ganlon berries. Even if you fail at poffin making it will still evolve.

Turn off your caps lock!

Back to topic. Like Smarties said you'll need to try it on a new one I'm afraid if you want Milotic to learn certain moves asap.

Kraka-chan August 18th, 2007 9:37 AM

I don't think that you have to completely max out its Beauty, just make it really high.

I did have a Feebas/Milotic in Ruby and it did the same.

pokenutjob August 23rd, 2007 1:49 PM

ok well from the first thread i fed my poffins to the feebas till he couldnt "eat anymore" and he couldnt evolve. well i have a new one and i got kelpsy berries like someone suggested.
theyre all coming out lvl. 9 and im hesitant to start feeding them to my new one. is lvl 9 kelpsy berries enough for him?

p.s. i couldnt find the first thread. my mouse is broke so it scrolls every second by itself. mx 1000lasers sucks.

p.s. shiny umbreon you dont need to be a jerk bout it.

How was he a jerk about it? </off-topic>

pokenutjob August 23rd, 2007 3:15 PM

something he said in a different topic. anyway i just wanna know if lvl 9 kelpsy berries will evolve it :(

AnimeDDR110 August 23rd, 2007 3:34 PM

same thing happened to me. except it was in emerald. i found the spot a caught like 30 feebas. after 16 feebas one of them finally evolved. do you still have the spot where you caught it? go there and keep catching more until you give one poffins good enough to evolve.

~*!*~Tatsujin Gosuto~*!*~ August 28th, 2007 6:04 AM

I've used Kelpsy there very good berries and since in D/P they are extremely hard to find just keep breeding them because if you mess up at least you have more Feebas to mess up

In Ruby I found a nature that liked the "beauty"-stat berries more, and it worked like a charm. Don't know if that helps or not, but I hope so. :) Mine is Timid natured.

Znale September 22nd, 2007 11:00 AM

This is the annoying part with Milotic. Remember to only feed HIGH QUALITY Poffins to it. Making Poffins is frustrating, but working hard on them is worth it since Milotic can be an extremely versatile battler if used correctly.

airconditioning September 22nd, 2007 11:10 AM

Haha, necroposting. But yeah, it'll take some practice to make good Poffins, so I'd recommend practicing on cheap berries, like Chesto berries.

What did I do?

Anyway, about Feebas, it was pretty easy for me to evolve it in Ruby. I didn't even got a good nature, just a regular one. I think Pokéblocks are easier than Poffins, though. And if you really want that Milotic, you can always use the Lv1000 Poffin you get at the beginning. It can help.

MyNameMeansForest September 22nd, 2007 5:53 PM

In my Emerald, I searched about 10 minutes before I found the feebas tile (heh heh lucky me). I caught four of them. I tried to evolve one but it didn't work so I ditched it. The second one I got smarter and waited for the Blend Master. I used up a lot of berries to make tons of pokeblocks for beauty, and fed them all to feebas until it was full. Then it gained a level and evolved. Seriously, making feebas evolve is easier said then done.

zer0vrs September 22nd, 2007 8:29 PM

i bred my feebas so i could get one with Dragon Breath and i only spent about 10 mintues making poffins. i finally got the hang of it. its actually alot simplir than i used to think it was because it used to be so hard to make great poffins. i evolved mine at lvl 2.
